Baby I love you ok
Kenny Lyrics
Baby I love you okay
Baby bay baby I love you okay
The music is playing they are laying it down
And here we are grooving and moving around
Once again you are by my side wish you knew how hard I triec
Again and again and again and again just to say hey hey.
I can dance to the music of a rock and roll band
I can shake it with my baby I can hold her hand
And I know how to go when we are dancing
I can rock it with my baby I can hold her tight
I can realiy put it over I can do it alright
But I cannot find a way to say "baby I love you"
(baby I love you okay)
No
I cannot find a way to say "baby I love you".
But I get my chance when the dancing is through
And we are on our own all alone me and you
Baby I love you okay wish I had the nerve to say it
Over and over and over and over again-again-again.
I can dance to the music of a rock and roll band
. . .
Baby bay baby I love you okay

This band knocked out a whole string of great songs in the 70s. Julie Anne, The Bump, Fancy Pants.. and then there was Racey, of the same genre, with Some Girls, Lay Your Love On Me, etc. Great catchy feelgood tunes, with a neat hook, just what a pop song is supposed to be.

Good songs never pass away, but singers do.

One of my favourite songs from the summer of 1975. Nice riff, drums and vocal hook. Thanks for posting

I just heard this band for the first time this week. I am jealous of the UK for the tunes you got to hear. We didn't get Slade until 1983
Christine Sullivan
If you were alive and an American rock fan into British rock in the early 1970s you could buy Slade albums and singles. You must know Mama Weer All Crazed Now?!!
Christine Sullivan
MrCosmo314 We had Slade in the U.S. in 1972. We just didn't appreciate their greatness except in pockets of the Northeast, the Midwest and L.A./ San Francisco.
