Kevin has participated twice in the Maltese selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2006 and 2007.
He has also participated in the Malta International TV Song Festival 2006, and reached the finals with the song "Riflessi". He also competed in the 2007 edition with the song "Jasal il-Jum", both songs composed by Jason Cassar.
Kevin moved from Malta to Arvidsjaur, Sweden in December 2007 to live with his Swedish girlfriend. In the summer 2007, his girlfriend wanted him to attend to one of the auditions for the 2008 years Swedish Idol competition. Successfully, he ended up as one of the 11 finalists in the weekly finals. Kevin was never in the "bottom three" in the competition, and won the competition in Globen Arena in Stockholm on December 12th 2008, with the winning song "With Every Bit of Me", composed by famous Andreas Carlsson and Jörgen Elofsson. Kevin stood in the final with Alice Svensson.
Kevin's debutalbum is coming out in February 2009.
