Where Are We Going?
Kevin Sherwood Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Where are we going from here?
Where do we go?
Are we all blinded by fear?
Where do we go? How do we know?
Need for survival is clear
We persevere without an end
Into forever, we fall
And wander on and on and on

Dust of a thousand years thrown on your path
And in the aftermath, you′ll stumble forward
Mouth full of air resuscitating life
And you'll ascend and carry on and on

Where are we going from here?
Where do we go?
Are we all blinded by fear?
How do we know? How do we know?

In the depths, easy steps
Water flows
Fire burns, all returns
Ashes cleanse the ordinary woe

Where are we going from here?
Do we let go of all we know?
Are we all blinded by fear?
Where do we go when we let go?
Where are we going? Where are we going?
Where are we going? Where are we going?
Are we all blinded by fear?
Where do we go when we let go?

I feel I′m falling from here, don't let me go

Is it the calling we hear, we hear?
How do, how do we know?

Overall Meaning

The song "Where Are We Going?" by Kevin Sherwood poses several questions that question mortality, the afterlife, and the unknown future. The lyrics inquire about direction and purpose, the fear of the unknown, and the need for survival. The singer asks if we are blinded by fear or if we persevere through the unknown without an end. The song also touches on the idea of life after death.

The chorus of the song repeats the question, "Where are we going from here?" and asks if we must let go of all we know. The singer wonders if we are all blinded by the fear of what is to come and how do we know what lies ahead. The song also deals with the idea of overcoming obstacles in life by using the metaphor of dust thrown on our path and stumbling forward. The lyrics suggest that we must persevere and carry on, despite challenges.

In other parts of the song, the lyrics suggest that there are natural cycles of life, such as water flowing and fire burning, and that ashes cleanse the ordinary woe. The lyrics may hint at the idea of rebirth or renewal after death.

Blood of The Dead had many issues because Mob of The Dead was an OG map to us. While Blood on the other hand, has different slight of changes.

They took Afterlife Mode away like in Mob of The Dead. The Spectral Shield is also considered as the Afterlife Shield, even tho you spirit blast it.

They added the Catwalk and the Recreation Yard where the spawn room of Mob of The Dead is located. Which is pretty dangerous.

The boss fight looks cramped and small. It would be better if the boss fight is on the Golden Gate Bridge.

That's few things I hate about Blood.

Its crazy how we feel sympathy for people who don't exist. That's great story telling. I feel connected to them. Straight to my soul

Oorah.

It is phenomenal writing, somehow we care for fictional characters so much that you can cry because of the ending. Another reason the writing is good, is because they have been telling this story for 10 years and we still weren’t bored. I joined late, at like bo3 but I remember watching my bro grind bo1 on five and bo2

it was more then that, 10 years with these crazy men, they grew as a part of us, a part of who we are as people, but like every good thing, it came to a end, but instead of letting it ends make your heart feel emtpy, use that good part of it, to make yourself a better person, with more things to shape you, and how you do things, when you;ve been around somthing for so long, they are not just a hobby, they are a part of you, and no matter what, when somthings a part of you, never let somthign that happens to the item change you, for even though it may be the end of it, its not the end of you.
