He started a club night called Technique in Leeds in 2001 where he was a resident DJ where he played alongside Derrick May, Miss Kittin, Radioactive Man, Adam Freeland and Richie Hawtin.
After moving to London in 2006 he became resident at 'Chew The Fat!', playing every month at The END and Fat! tour events around the UK. Kid Blue has released solo productions on Lot49 and Fat! records, and is booked in clubs across Europe and beyond.
He's just established Dimebox and is promoting a new night with Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes called Lot49. He's has a new EP with Meat Katie and more remixes coming soon.

The lyrics to Kid Blue's song "Ed Sheeran" is a about the overwhelming feeling of falling in love with someone who seems almost too good to be true. The reference to Ed Sheeran is used to show how this girl he met makes him feel like he is on top of the world. He is rapping about how much he loves her and that she is everything to him. He even considers building a future with her, like building a house with legos, based on the idea of being together forever. The lines "Nothing like a little young love, she's an angel I can't get enough of" further shows how this girl is special to him.
However, as with all great things, there is a risk of losing it all. The line "She's the devil that I can't get out of my head" is an acknowledgment that this girl, who he loves so much, can be overwhelming and perhaps too much for him to handle. He acknowledges that he is "young and dumb", but at the same time does not want anyone else besides her.
