In Kid Cudi's "Angels Freestyle," he spits rapid-fire bars in a confident, boastful manner, flaunting his lyrical prowess and predicting his future success. He references gun violence with the Smith & Wesson line, and dismisses his haters with derogatory terms such as "sucka" and "sucka hater." He asserts that he is living out his dreams and enjoying his fame and fortune, boasting about his lavish spending habits and dropping references to brands like Bape. He also name-drops fellow rapper Drake (Drizzy) and hints at a possible collaboration between the two, all while maintaining an air of cool detachment.
Throughout the song, Kid Cudi's delivery remains energetic and passionate, highlighting his incredible skill and confidence as a rapper. He is unafraid to assert his dominance over the rap industry and declare his intentions to win awards and accolades.
One notable aspect of "Angels Freestyle" is that it was not included on any of Kid Cudi's official studio albums, but rather released independently online. It is often praised by fans as one of his strongest and most impressive performances.
