No one wants a troubled boy
Leave alone the troubled boy
So it seems
No one wants a troubled boy
Leave alone the troubled boy
I've learned
No one wants a troubled boy
And I've learned
No one wants a troubled boy
Show them you're a stronger boy
Mmm
It seems
No one wants a troubled boy
Leave alone the troubled boy
So it seems
No one wants a troubled boy
Leave alone the troubled boy
And I've learned
No one wants a troubled boy
All they know is trouble boy
And I've learned
No one wants a troubled boy
Show them you're a stronger boy
Still have
(No one)
Still have
(No one)
It seems
No one wants a troubled boy
Leave alone the troubled boy
It seems
No one wants a troubled boy
Leave alone the troubled boy
And I've learned
No one wants a troubled boy
All they know is trouble boy
And I've learned
No one wants a troubled boy
Show them you're a stronger boy
Goodbye
The lyrics to Kid Cudi's "Troubled Boy" speak to the feeling of being an outsider and feeling unwanted. The repeated line "No one wants a troubled boy" conveys a sense of rejection and isolation. It seems as though the singer has experienced this rejection often, as they state "And I've learned / No one wants a troubled boy / All they know is trouble boy." The language used in the song is raw and emotional, with the short, simple phrases emphasizing the pain and frustration behind the lyrics.
Despite the overwhelming feeling of being unwanted, the lyrics also express the need to show others that you are stronger than their perception of you. The final line of the song, "Show them you're a stronger boy," encourages the listener to push through the pain and prove their worth to the world. The repetition throughout the song adds to the emotional weight, as the singer seems to be trying to convince themselves of their own strength and worth.
Overall, "Troubled Boy" is a powerful song that speaks to the feelings of loneliness and rejection that many people experience at some point in their lives. The raw emotion behind the lyrics makes the message even more impactful.
