Let me also mention the fact that I have recently started to wear the hijab and found your channel while I was searching for hijab tutorials and since then I’ve been a FAN! I LOVE all your fashion/beauty tips and hacks esp on how to ace the modest look. And also your family is super cute <3

While I can understand it invests a lot of time to make these vlogs as well as looking after a baby and a husband and a home, it’s a full time job! Nevertheless your vlogs are a kind of an inspiration for many muslim women/moms out there. So yeah definitely don’t stop vloging please. The shorter ig/tiktokk ones can actually be really annoying at times and very impersonal. Take time off if you need to of course but keep up the vloging as much as time allows you to.

One thing I hate about tiktok and other social media platforms (reels shorts etc,) is that people keep doing the same thing over and over again and you get sick of it. I know there is unique content out there, but these kinds of videos are so short and a lot of misconceptions and false information are being spread around (not all of them).

Sometimes, I go through them and I don't really pay attention to the person.

Youtube, to me, is the real deal. It is the platform that I go to to connect with the person I am watching, get information, get guidance on stuff and so on.

I can tell you my favorite content of your is when you share recipes of your own (or any other recipes), what I eat in a day, a day in your life, decorating your house (and also the decoration you put for every season or event or holiday), sharing family gatherings and trips, talking about personal stuff, answering juicy questions, doing stuff with your sisters, sharing your struggles as a woman, photoshoots. Although your fashion tips are amazing and I follow your stepsssss, but I am not really into fashion.

Personally I find the short, tik Tok length content annoying, and I find that I get really stressed out if I watch more than a couple of them. But I like actual vlogs that are 8-25 minutes in length. It feels like you see the real vlogger's personality.

It seems like a lot of people who are “creating content” are feeling burnt out lately and that can be seen through the “content”. So ultimately just do you and please yourself and your family, content creators compare themselves to others and try to do what everyone else is doing, it’s not necessary. The title had me worried for a bit. I personally like vlogs because they offer a more relatable intimate setting. Not everyone has Tiktok or Instagram , so it’s nice you still use YouTube to post new content . We understand that you have to do what’s best for your business and yourself.

To be honest I love vlogs !!! Tiktok is nice for fun and entertaining content with music but vlogs are so much more interesting. It feels more personal, we get to see more of you. It make us feel closer and more connected to you..

( I never watch shorts and YouTube stories... I rather follow someone on Instagram, it's all there anyway)

If you feel that you need a break, please do take it. It will not make you irrelevant and your subscribers and followers won't leave you. Your life, your family, and your health are so much more important than the content we consume (not that we don't love it!). I'm personally a fan of vlogs over short content but in the end, it's whatever you love to do.

Kids love to play with things that aren't toys lol so here is an idea. Let her play with your empties 😊. She obviously sees watches you get ready, so give her her own "big people stuff" to play with. Its mostly sensory for her, opening and closing stuff. Put them in a basket that she would recognize. Every time you want to get ready bring out her basket and let her play (switch them out with new things here and there) and at the end do "clean up" time. This way she is part of your "routine" but has her own. Im an early childhood educator, and I find that children at this age cling on because they want to be part of your daily activities until they learn to play by themselves.

There are definitely some creators that are more suited for TikTok style content and I could watch their TikToks for days, but then when I watch their YouTube channels, I nearly fall asleep. But with your channel, I look forward to watching your vlogs way more because I get to see your personality more and feel more connected than the quick stories and TikToks allow for. Especially with all of the exciting things coming up like designing your new home, I would selfishly loveee if you kept making vlogs! I don’t have tik tok. I watch YouTube and IG. I do love the vlogs but I also understand it takes a lot of time and energy. Whatever you do I will continue to watch you however I can. Some food for thought: I feel like I don't "know" any TikTok creators. I don't feel close to them, I don't feel the need to even remember their names or what's going on in their lives because the content is just too short to have that connection. If you asked me who my favorite tiktoker was, I wouldn't be able to answer because I literally don't have the attention span to remember who they even are. But I feel like I have a much better connection to YouTubers specifically because of the longer form content. Obviously this means different things to different people. Some people don't care for that connection, some do. Some people feel better suited for short, quick content, and others don't. Ultimately, it's up to you and how you want your career to go.

I personally LOVE long-form content. It is the equivalent of watching Netflix for me. I will literally project youtube videos onto my TV screen and watch them like a movie. Hi Leena, I can imagine that it would become really difficult to keep vlogging every week, especially when you need to balance your time with Alaina. Content can become a bit repetitive inside the home. Giving your views on certain topics, subjects, or controversial issues will broaden the scope and may keep audiences interested. Vlogs outside the home perhaps with people other than your family would be great. We know very little about your interests, hobbies etc. You've got a real natural talent in everything you do, to perfection , so even if you were to give up vlogging you would excel in most careers.
