I know. I purchased one and it’s awesome. My kids hate to see me coming near them when I have this in my hand. 🤣🤣 No one is safe in my orbit. I even managed to talk my mom into letting me check her ears and she was hiding treasures!! I named the chunk of wax that I dug out and gave it a birthday. If you have a earwax blockage like he did, it's better to get it removed by a professional. This risk of just pushing the wax even further inwards is big and you can actually puncture your ear drum causing a bigger problem.

It's really not difficult. Use hydrogen peroxide. Just pour a capful in your ear with your head tilted so the peroxide stays in, wait until the bubbling sound slows down, then tilt your head to drain out the peroxide onto a paper towel. Do that until the wax comes out. You can also use olive oil. Put a few drops in each ear for a few days to loosen the wax and then rinse the ear with peroxide or an ear bulb...they sell them at any drugstore or Walmart, etc. It doesn't require a professional if you have common sense. You should never clean your ears with q tips or anything that could push the ear wax farther in. I just clean my ears in the shower by letting a stream of water into each ear for 20 seconds or so. My doctor taught me this trick years ago and I've never had another earwax blockage.

It's only dangerous when you can't see what you're doing. If you get a clear view of your eardrum and you're very steady handed, it can be done safely. The idea is to not touch the eardrum or push wax towards it. Gotta be careful to scoop the earwax away from the eardrum.

this looks definitely ok and not that surprising for me . i have been using q tip for decades , including those metallic earpick scoops that can dig out bigger wax accumulations. the KEY IS , always do it slow and FEEL the putting in and coming out of the q tip , and do it REGULARLY ,preferrably once a day or 2 days. and avoid too deep in .

i even find those super slim q tips so it can go in deeper , since big q tips can't go in deep enough but sometimes i have wet wax deeper in that bigger q tip won't do / remove and i need those super small /slim type for babies so it can reach deeper and inner and remove the wet/wax , if not , my ear will always feel itchy and uncomfortable until the wax dampness is removed further in ...

I bought one of these cameras online because my right ear drum got blocked and I had to go to the ear doctor during the pandemic twice and it cost me almost a hundred dollars a visit. Let me tell ya, this has helped me immensely. I unblocked it myself. But you really gotta know what you’re doing and you gotta be careful.

This is not a tool you want to use for the deeper wax. I have a blockage in my ear and these kinds of tools only irritate and cause pain the deeper you go, not to mention the damage you could cause to your eardrum.

What you want to use is Debrox ear wax removal drops and a bulb syringe to irrigate your ears. If the bulb syringe isn't cutting it like in my case, use a normal syringe with a soft tip that sprays water directly at the ear canal. This tool can be found at any Walgreens.

Keep irrigating until everything comes out.

ONLY USE THE CAMERA TO INSPECT YOUR EAR CANAL!!

Wait I have a story about this omfg.
Ok so my wife and I had gone to the dr and he CHECKED her ears like a normal ass thing and said nothing. She had been telling me her hearing sounded muffled on one side but like the dr would have said something if he saw something right??? So days later I'm cleaning her ears bc thats what we do and I'm like ??? "Thats weird. I can't see your ear drum on this side??" Like I thought I was angled wrong... So I had her put peroxide in like a soak and then I got the tweezers bc I thought maybe there was a little something there. WHEN I TELL YOU I PULLED OUT A WHOLE EAR PLUG SHAPED EAR WAX THING. I never KNEW that was a possibility. She cried bc ear stuff is a no for her. (like I would never show her this vid bc that guy said roach and she'd cry again for sure, thats how bad that is) SO, why didn't the Dr say anything about her whole plugged ass ear?! 😭 I'm getting one of these.

The inside of our ears are so sensitive. I learned (by copying my aunt from a young age) how good I could feel from tickling my ears. I grew up literally sticking finely rolled-up tissue in my ears to tickle the inside and experiencing EUPHORIA. Like a really good tingly feeling. Some have termed it an Eargasm. But can anyone please explain exactly what causes that intense sensory pleasure plus how and why? I’d love for somebody to do a really educational video on that. I can never get fully-filled answers.

I don’t use q-tips or anything sharp, and I tickle just inside. Never found any wax that way, but this video has made me want this camera STAT. I should’ve been an Audiologist or better yet an actual ENT.

If I had to guess I'd say the inner ear is so sensitive simply because it's a sensory organ, and the reason it feels so good is because it's an area that rarely gets touched (kinda like taking your socks off after a long day).

I go to the doctor a lot for having Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis my whole life so I get the standard checkup, too, every few months, and there’s not anything visibly wrong with my ears. I guess maybe it just tickles the ear hairs just right, in a place that otherwise doesn’t get stimulated. 🤷‍♀️

I actually got one from Amazon after I watched ear wax removal video on youtube. It is fairly cheap. I think it works fine. The video is sharp enough although it is not super sharp. That device is pretty safe. But the thing is; I didn't quite get the sense of achievement after cleaning. yes, there are definitely a few small pieces I extracted. But the size is nowhere close to what I saw on youtube.

@@sev3504 It's not the inner ear though, it's the outer ear/auris externa. The inner ear is BEHIND the eardrum. Also the skin in the outer ear isn't going to make you deaf. It's the microscopic hairs in the cochlea that are responsible for hearing. The only damage one could do is rupture the eardrum by pushing on it, or by pushing the wax towards the eardrum which can affect hearing over time

If you don’t have major blockage or infections ever, do not get the camera. Most doctors will tell you just go to them for cleanings to limit the risk to your ears.

You are heating the wax in your ear with warm water, then have the full effect of the wide cotton ball end, rather than wetting the tip down and making the top smaller and easier to hurt yourself or dry out your ear with too hard rubbing

I have really bad earwax problems, I over-produce wax and it regularly clogs and blocks my eardrum. I have to soak it in hydrogen peroxide and blast it out with the pressure of clean water in a syringe and chunks the size of frozen peas come out. I NEED THIS.

Tbh this is a surgical procedure and it’s best to have a doctor do this because they know how to avoid puncturing your eardrum with the tools. Doing this on yourself is like giving yourself an operation.

I've tried this same one before and all I can say is dont use it, it ended up pushing the earwax deeper into my ear and then I couldn't get it out and couldn't hear for days, just use a special ear wax softener from you drug store and then flush it with Saline solution.

This is really interesting b/c I can actually see the difference between different ear wax types (dry&dusty vs wet&gooey). I heard it depends on what race you are and most of asians have dry and dusty ear wax expect for like 20-30%. Interesting.

My ears are horredous. My doctor says I have really small ear canals, so they get blocked very quickly. I always clean the outside of my ears, but can't really use anything other than drops to clean inside. So, I'm always needing to have my ears syringed. I've just bought this and I'm really hoping it will bring the end to my ear problems. It arrives tomorrow. I may record it as I know my ears will be super bad.

@@pelinyldrm6508 Right, I highly advise that you do not buy. The reviews don't seem so bad on amazon, but you have to download their app to use the device, and the app reviews were terrible. 1 star ratings because people couldn't get the app to connect to their device and I had the exact same problem. On top of that, the device was overheating within minutes and switching off. Another problem many people seem to have. Total waste of money. Don't buy it.

Don't use qtips! Not safe that's how you get impacted earwax. I've also had to remove a qtip end that came off and stuck itself in there. Most of the time it's ok to have some earwax.

Ok now I haven't done much but watch earwax plug and extraction videos along with been the victim of my own stupidity with a q-tip, but why did everyone go with the probe first instead of look around their ear without it first? I bought one of these and it's multiple screw on probes. It's good no one fully explored their ear. We see the sides of the canal and they call it. Anyone of them do anymore than that with an amateur hand and going blind would have poked or done worse to their ear drum. Then again, what do I know? I'm just an idiot.

My sister's audiologist says to NEVER stick anything smaller than your elbow in your ear . My sister ,who wears two hearing aids just went to an ear nose and throat Doctor be cause of the amount of wax her ears produce. She is set up to get them professionally cheapened twice a year. Per her audiologist we use hydrogen peroxide once a month between cleanings. I have also started to do the same with my own ears. It melts the wax and bubbles up. So much safer for the eardrums.

It's so gross I cant look away lol. Got one myself the other day and I was surprised on how clean my ears are but now I'm afraid I'm might be losing my hearing.
