Some compare King B to 2pac, some say he has the raw street-edge and gangster’ style of early Master P, and even a way of delivering street knowledge reminiscent of Pastor Troy. I say it’s all of these characteristics and a few other unique personality traits that make King B a well rounded young up-and-comer. By taking lesions from the success and failure of other recording artists, King B has been able to adapt his sound to be club friendly with that official southern gangster-lean. Like Master P, 2pac, and Biggie, the King B sound is original and expressive. If you have been waiting for the next real life G to tell his story then your in luck King B’s VISIONS album plays like a big budget, Hollywood, shootem’ up type gangster movie. Although one or two liberties may have been taken with names and dates on the album, this is a firsthand account of the harsh reality that is felt by those on the bottom of the U.S. social ladder.
With street sense and country wisdom King B makes rap music fun and interesting again. This is true Hip-Hop Story Telling at its best. Though as usual this album takes us to the dark side of human nature, it surprisingly shows us a glimpse of the better points of living in the hood as well. With a strong love for his community King B is the perfect one to tell the story of Logtown.
Ain't Too Proud to Beg
King B Lyrics

Where do we go?
Look inside, I don't know.
I feel so crazy, crazy.
Running from my mistakes.
I hope it's really okay.
Love is, an incurable disease, unfixable.
We really want, what we don't need, and now I see.
Running, from, the things, that make me who I am.
When everything's too fast where do you go?
Hey when your down to your last where do you go?
I hope it's okay, I feel it in my soul.
Save me, ain't too proud to beg, but I say please.
Heart racing faster than a high speed chase.
Tell me where to go when I'm feeling misplaced.
I wonder why I lost the battle?
Put a lot of people to the side because I got a lot to handle.
I feel so dangerous, dangerous.
Blow up in my face, make me feel disgraced.
You don't really love me.
Tell me, how you really feel.
Don't lie to me no, because I already know what's real.
Took me like a pill.
I feel so crazy, crazy.
Running from my mistakes, I hope I'm okay.
The lyrics of King B's "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" explore the theme of confusion and the struggle of self-discovery. The opening lines of the song form a recurring question about the singer's direction in life. The repeated singsong question 'where do we go' suggests a sense of lostness and confusion. It can be inferred that the singer's inner-self is unable to provide guidance because they 'don't know' either.
The lyrics convey the idea that love can be an 'incurable disease' and the difficulties associated with wanting what one doesn't need. The lyrics are predominated by a sense of anxiety, fear, and desperation, which flow into the chorus. The chorus, "When everything's too fast where do you go? Hey when you're down to your last where do you go? I hope it's okay, I feel it in my soul. Save me, ain't too proud to beg, but I say please," implore for help and guidance while admitting to feeling lost and helpless. The singer hopelessly tries to find a way to overcome the feeling of scattering and disqualification that suffocates them.
