She became interested in the recording arts after her first gig at the age of 9 as a voiceover actor for BET commercials. She first sang on studio recordings in a high school acapella group, Flint Hill Major Minors, and continued her early career as a recording artist with commissioned projects such as theme music for local radio shows, comedians, and special events. While studying design in college, she started two gospel groups with childhood friends, REIGN & His City. In 2015, Sis won 1st place at Amateur night at the legendary Apollo theater in Harlem, NY, and confirmed what she always wanted: a career in music. After moving to Los Angeles, Sis continued her performing career as a world-touring background vocalist, working with prominent artists such as Kelela.
Her current songwriting centers around love, self-affirmation, and a return to the natural world in a modern life filled with virtual realities.
