Your life and teachings challenged the norms of the world and brought about a radical change.

And made us free to worship you

You, God, were crucified on the cross for the salvation of all humans.

Sent to the grave but rose again
You, God, were buried after your crucifixion, but rose from the dead on the third day.

You turned the world upside down
Your resurrection turned the world's perception of death and eternal life upside down.

And made us free to worship you Lord
Your resurrection gave us the hope and freedom to worship and serve you, Lord.

I believe you died and rose again
I believe in your death and resurrection as a source of salvation and hope.

Now I know your love never fails
I have experienced and am convinced that your love for me never fails, regardless of my faults.

You're the way the truth and the life
You, God, are the only way to true and eternal life; the embodiment of truth itself.

You're doing us favours
You, God, are not obligated to show us kindness and grace, but willingly do so out of your love for us.

You're doing nobody favours
Your love and grace are not exclusive or biased; they are available and accessible to everyone who believes.

You turned the world upside down
Your life, death, and resurrection have turned the world's perception of truth, love, and salvation upside down.

And made us free to worship you
Through your sacrificial love and grace, we are now free to worship and serve you in spirit and truth.
