Kings Lyrics

I finally get the chance to breathe
I hear the echoes from my pulse
I see the light, don't let me go
You see my scars, rip me apart
I know you watched as I died in your arms
Change this life
Rebuilt my mind
Pretending I'm not empty
Pretending I don't want to hide
The sun sets my world on fire
The light pulls me closer
You see my scars, rip me apart
I know you watched as I died in your arms
Change this life, rebuilt my mind
I see the light from the grave
With every moment wasted
With every chance we lost
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
I'll find my way, it all starts today
You see my scars, rip me apart
I know you watched as I died in your arms
Change this life, rebuilt my mind
I see the light from the grave
In the song "Creation" by Kings, the singer expresses a sense of transformation and growth amidst a changing world. They mention finally being able to breathe, implying a previous state of suffocation or feeling trapped. The echoes from their pulse symbolize a newfound awareness and vitality. They ask not to be abandoned, as they have caught a glimpse of light that is guiding them forward.
The reference to scars represents emotional wounds that have been inflicted upon the singer, suggesting a history of pain or trauma. They recognize the potential for a new beginning and express hope for a brighter future. The mention of seeing the light from the grave adds a sense of metaphorical rebirth, emphasizing the theme of renewal and starting fresh.
The lines about pretending not to be empty and not wanting to hide reveal an inner struggle. The singer may still be grappling with the pain they have experienced, yet they choose to confront their vulnerabilities rather than mask them. The sun setting their world on fire represents a profound change or upheaval, while the light pulling them closer signifies a magnetic force drawing them towards their goals or aspirations.
With every moment wasted and every chance lost, the singer acknowledges the passing of time and missed opportunities. However, they assert their determination to persevere and find their way. "Hold on" becomes their mantra, a reminder to stay strong and embrace the journey ahead. They believe that today marks the beginning of their transformation, where they will actively shape their own destiny.
Overall, "Creation" by Kings explores themes of personal growth, resilience, and the pursuit of a better life. It delves into the pain and scars the singer carries but also highlights their strength to rise above their circumstances.
