Message In A Bottle
Kings Of Leon vs. The Police Lyrics

Another lonely day, no one here but me, oh
More loneliness any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair, oh
I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
A year has passed since I wrote my note
I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together
Love can mend your life but love can break your heart
I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Oh, message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Walked out this morning, don't believe what I saw
Hundred billion bottles washed up on the shore
Seems I'm not alone in being alone
Hundred billion castaways looking for a home
I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, whoa
Message in a bottle, yeah
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
I'm sendin' out an SOS
I'm sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
Sendin' out an SOS
The lyrics of Fire In A Bottle by Kings Of Leon vs. The Police tell the story of someone feeling lost and alone, stranded on an island, with no one around except for their own thoughts. They cry out for help, hoping that someone will hear them, as they feel themselves slipping further into their own despair. The repeated lyrics of "I'll send an SOS to the world, I hope that someone gets my message in a bottle" show the desperation and longing for connection that the singer is feeling.
As time passes, the person reflects on their situation and realizes that love is what they need to hold onto, but it can also be what destroys them. The line "Love can mend your life but love can break your heart" is a bittersweet reminder that even though love might save them, it also has the power to hurt them. The song ends with the perspective shifting to a passerby on a shore who realizes that they are not alone in feeling lost and searching for a home.
Overall, Fire In A Bottle is a powerful portrayal of the human experience of loneliness, longing, and the need for connection. It highlights the universal desire we all have to be heard, understood, and loved.

Ok the reason this is a genius remix is the "third tune" the "All Aboard" (which seems to annoy so many) is the tune that got me into "House" https://youtu.be/8HRP8SMuKfE "all aboard the night train 1996"
