The Kiriyama Family's song Heal speaks of a person who appears to be undergoing a lot of pain and trauma but is not able to express their emotions. The singer tries to offer help by taking care of the person's physical wounds - patching up of bruises and removing their shoes. In spite of the person's obvious pain, the singer observes that they are masking their feelings by keeping a beautiful face in the shade, while their hands are in the dirt, feeling eerie and disturbed. The person seems to be hiding behind a barricade of lies that is crumbling and causing them to feel the need to lift their hand for help.
The singer observes that they cannot embrace the person's hand, even though they are both caught up in the chaos and confusion of the moment. However, the singer encourages the person that though they may be stuck in the commotion, things will eventually heal with time. The person is urged to keep their head held high, focusing on their hopes and not dwelling on their fall. The person keeps the singer waiting through notes, and the singer feels like a fool, still expecting a call.
