Disconnect
Kloud Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

You're a stranger
Stuck inside my head
A remainder
Of a love that died instead
You're a stranger
And there's no point to pretend
That you can heal with me
Erase my memory

I'm in danger
Gotta quit while I'm ahead
Disclaimer
An emotion left unread
I'm in danger
And there's no point to pretend
That you can heal with me
Erase my memory

It'll feel so right
When I disconnect from you
All the shit you put me through
It'll feel so right
When I disconnect from you
All the shit you put me through
Is finally catchin' up to you

You're a virus
You were crawling in my skin
Like a Hybrid of blessing and a sin
You're a virus
And I got no medicine
You were playin me
Drove your thoughts into me
In the fire
Is the life i used to live
On a wire
Controlling me within
In the fire
There was nothing left to give
You were playin me
Drove your thoughts into me

It'll feel so right
When I disconnect from you
All the shit you put me through
It'll feel so right
When I disconnect from you
All the shit you put me through
Is finally catchin' up to you

Disconnect
Disconnect
I'ma disconnect
Disconnect
I'ma disconnect
Disconnect
I'ma disconnect
DISCONNECT!

Disconnect
Disconnect
I'ma disconnect
Disconnect
I'ma disconnect
Disconnect
I'ma disconnect
DISCONNECT!

It'll feel so right
When I disconnect from you
All the shit you put me through
It'll feel so right
When I disconnect from you

All the shit you put me through
Is finally catchin' up to you

Overall Meaning

In Kloud's song DISCONNECT, the lyrics are about someone who has become a stranger to the singer, yet is still stuck inside their mind. This person is a reminder of a love that failed and the pain and turmoil it caused. The singer acknowledges the danger of holding onto these emotions and the need to disconnect from this person in order to heal and move on. They liken the other person to a virus, infecting and controlling them. The singer recognizes that disconnecting from this person is the only way to break free from the negative impact they have had on their life.

The chorus repeats the phrase "It'll feel so right when I disconnect from you," emphasizing the release and relief that will come with breaking ties. The song suggests that karma has caught up with the other person, who will face the consequences of their actions.

As the song progresses, the lyrics describe the struggle that the person has put the singer through, but also their eventual disengagement from that pain. The repetition of "Disconnect" at the end of the song solidifies the decision to cut ties and move on from the hurtful past.

If Disney gonna make another TRON movie they should choose KLOUD to do the scoring.

@lighters5266

Daft Punk still op but Kloud would be sick as well

@MajesticPickle_

@@lighters5266 Daft Punk is kind of shit these days.

@Soppo13

@@davidlaurent1522 you don't need some sort of history to make good music. To say that is just foolish. In fact most mainstream music that is played on the radio is shit compared to these much smaller artists. I could easily see someone like the Weeknd singing this song yet you don't think it's appropriate just because kloud doesn't have a cult following.
