Both Marcin and Tomasz started the band in 2001. Short after, they gained attention at various festivals and radio stations. Before the first album was recorded, KDZKPW had been already recognised by media and had had a loyal group of fans. In 2005 debut album "Ósme piętro" (eng. "The 8th floor") was released.
They have just released their second album, "Lewa strona literki M" ("The left side of the letter M").

Kombajn Do Zbierania Kur Po Wioskach Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Na domy wszystkich mistrzów świata
Idzie wiosna
Sto tabletek
Poronnych na sen
Ósemka na spodenkach
I nasi lokatorzy szczęścia
Uśmiechnięci
Samolotem, jak latawcem mkną
Prosto gwiazdy widzą
Blisko
Wracając nie chciałem by dobry Bóg
Zabrał mnie za moje myśli i...
Wracając Bóg łowił MTV
I wszystkich tych co chcą
La la la la la...
Gubimy już
Włosy zimowe jak w hip-hopie
Na kwadratowym moście topnieje śnieg
A gwiazdki jak
Latarnie białe do zasypiania
Idzie wiosna
Idzie wiosna
Wracając nie chciałem by dobry Bóg
Zabrał mnie za moje myśli i...
Wracając Bóg łowił MTV
I wszystkich tych co chcą
La la la la la...
The lyrics to Kombajn Do Zbierania Kur Po Wioskach's song "8 dzień tygodnia" (translating to "8th Day of the Week") present a variety of images and moods that are difficult to piece together into a coherent narrative. The first verse begins with the simple statement that "rain falls again" (Znów pada deszcz), which might suggest a sense of monotony or unchanging circumstances. However, this image is juxtaposed with the phrase "on the houses of all the world champions" (Na domy wszystkich mistrzów świata), which adds a touch of irony, as the weather seems to be falling indiscriminately on everyone, regardless of their achievements or status. The final line of the first verse introduces a more optimistic tone, announcing the arrival of spring (Idzie wiosna).
The second verse presents a jarring contrast between two seemingly unrelated images: "one hundred tablets / for sleep after abortions" (Sto tabletek / Poronnych na sen) and "the number eight on shorts" (Ósemka na spodenkach). These lines are poignant in their abruptness, leaving much to the imagination and raising questions about the relationships between the different images presented in the song. The chorus, which repeats twice with slight variations, features the lines "Returning, I didn't want God to take me for my thoughts / And God was catching MTV and all those who want" (Wracając nie chciałem by dobry Bóg / Zabrał mnie za moje myśli i... / Wracając Bóg łowił MTV / I wszystkich tych co chcą), which suggest a sense of anxiety or uncertainty about where one's thoughts might lead them and what forces might be watching or guiding them in the world.
Overall, the lyrics to "8 dzień tygodnia" evoke a sense of disjointedness and fragmentation, with each line painting a vivid but often disconnected picture. The imagery of rain, spring, medication, and numerals all coexist within the same space, suggesting a world that is both bounded and boundless, with different meanings and interpretations arising from each new angle or perspective.

Widzę że ten komentarz jest z 2015. Co najmniej 2-3 lata wcześniej przeżywałem to samo. Dziś mamy 2019. Sporo minęło. Uczucia te same.
