Tell Me What You Want
Korn Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'm lying down in a pool of sin now
So why does it feel so good within?
Letting go, giving in!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Go away and never come back!
I'm gonna cry to dive right in
I'm gonna fight until I win now
I'm running down in a pool of sin
Letting go, giving in!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Go away and never come back!
Never come back
Never come back!
Go away and never come back!
Go away!
Go away!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Tell me what you want?
Tell me what you want?
Fuck you go away!
Go away and never come back!
Never come back!
Never come back!
The song "Tell Me What You Want" by KoRn seems to be about surrendering to temptation and indulging in sinful pleasures. The lyrics suggest that the singer is lying in a "pool of sin" and feels good inside despite knowing that what they are doing is wrong. There is also a sense of defiance and anger towards someone who is telling them to go away and not indulge in these desires. The chorus repeats the phrase "Tell me what you want" as if to challenge the listener or the person who is telling them to stop.
The verses describe the singer's determination to keep going and keep indulging in their desires despite the consequences. They are willing to fight and cry to keep going, suggesting that the temptation is very strong. The repeated line "Go away and never come back" could be directed towards the person trying to stop them or towards their own conscience, telling them to push away their doubts and continue down this path of temptation.
