This wasn't considered "hair metal", "hair metal" (a title that was conferred to certain bands much later and NEVER when the bands were active) was the newer version of glam metal in the mid to late 80s.

One the great albums of the 80´s. Me and my friends used to gather friday evenings to play new albums and drink a few cold ones. The one who bought a record let the others guess who it was playing. actually there was a big dust up back in the 80's over this and somebody said that some band was stealing there sound from Krokus. ACDC ended that argument when they pointed out that Krokus depending heavily on the sound of ACDC :)

Saw these guys in Nashville TN. back in 81' or 82'. They put on a great show. They are from Switzerland while AC/DC were from Australia. They do sound like AC/DC though on this song in particular.

I saw Krokus play in 1979. Even back then I thought they sounded like AC/DC. Later, when I began to learn music I followed up on some of my favorite groups to find out where they were from. That's how I leaned Krokus was from Switzerland.

I have seen this band many times being a 43 year old rocker and guitar player still today. They toured with everybody and created some great music, this tune was the first I heard of them. To say they were ripping off AC/DC means all of us musicians are ripping off our influences. Even I have written some country music that many have told me has a Zepplin feel, go figure. This band was great live and Thank God for them, I enjoyed their shows!
