There's nothing' wrong with tradition
Bt tel me where it saysnot to
Follow our hearts...
that's's why so many of us are
So Konfused
And well nevr live up to
Your Rules....
(Chrous)
My Religion does't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understands...
My Religion won't Kondemn
Always lends a healing hand
It's LOVE
My Religion's LOVE...

ll it takes is to be willing
To sacrifice for someone
Who is in need...
Then we Kan begin to ea again
and LOVE will sweep the land!

My Religion does't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understands...
My Religion won't Kondemn
Always lends a healing hand
It's LOVE
My Religion's LOVE...

That's why so many of us
Are Konfused
And w'l never live up to
Your Rules!

My Religion does't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understands...
My Religion won't Kondemn
Always lends a healing hand
It's LOVE
My Religion's LOVE...

(Modulation)
My Religion does't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understands...
My Religion won't Kondemn
Always lends a healing hand
It's LOVE
My Religion's LOVE...

My religion's LOVE...

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Krystal Harris's song "My Religion" speak to the confusion and conflict that many individuals experience when it comes to religious beliefs and traditions. The first verse of the song acknowledges that there is nothing inherently wrong with tradition but questions whether it actually prohibits individuals from following their hearts. Harris suggests that the rules and expectations that come with certain religions can be overwhelming, leading people to feel confused and unable to live up to them.

The chorus of the song emphasizes that Harris's religion - which she refers to as "LOVE" - is not about hate or condemnation but rather about understanding and healing. She suggests that the key to living a fulfilling life is to be willing to sacrifice for others and allow love to "sweep the land". The message that comes through is one of inclusivity and acceptance, emphasizing that love is the ultimate religion and that it has the power to bring people together.

Overall, "My Religion" is a song that encourages listeners to embrace love and compassion as the foundation of their lives. While it acknowledges the difficulties that come with navigating different religious beliefs, it emphasizes that at the end of the day, love is what truly matters.

@bratbrat9494

finally found this damn song after all these years

been stuck in my head since that BSB CD where this was the bonus track

@RedCubUK

When this song came on after about three minutes of silence at the end of the CD, the eerie drum beats scared the crap out of me! There wasn’t supposed to be a song there, but there it was! And oh man, it was soooo good. To a young kid like myself, who was growing up in a religious household and already started questioning my parents’ fundamentalism, this song really resonated with me. This song that wasn’t even supposed to be there, that came into my life like a ghost and spoke to me like a truly Holy Spirit. I’m no longer Christian, but I still hold onto the lesson of this song - to live life with love, patience, and compassion for others. Thank you, Krystal! (And BSB, apparently)
