Yep, Ariana Grande's song seems to be implying she's having fun and she's free of the lover, but when Max sings it, the listener can actually appreciate there's a heart break going on. I get the feeling this is a better song because of the Schneider duo.

Wow this is really good cover. Max always puts so much emotion into whenever he sings. And it helps me actually, you know, understand more of the death of the song in this more sad slowed down tone because when ariana sings it in her version it is overly pop and enerjectic that you just dont really completely pay attention to the lyrics as much. So good job Kurt and Max on this awesome cover.

I think it's better than the original. But everyone has their opinions. I love the calming sound the piano gives and the way he sings the lyrics in a slow temper - it sound soothing and romantic. But other people may like the original better because it fits to their type of music they like. We all have different perspectives, but neither of them are "better" than the other...

I love this cover so much. I think Max did a great job which is something he always does so I wouldn't expect less from him. Since it is slower you actually understand the lyrics and I love it so much. Just to be clear I love both versions. One I dance too ( well I can't dance actually lol ) and the other I love listening too when I want to relax.
