Another You. Seit etwas mehr als einem Jahr lassen die Jungs von Kyles Tolone ihr ganzes inneres Chaos in ihrer Musik raus und transportieren damit so viele Probleme, Liebe, Ratlosigkeit und letztlich Ohnmacht vor den Dingen, dass man selber gar nicht mehr so richtig weiß, ob alles in einem wirklich so geordnet ist. Und das soll Musik ja auch mit einem machen, also einen loslösen, befreien, verwirren um einen fernab jeder Vernunft wieder zusammenwachsen zu sehen. Die Musik von Kyles Tolone macht das teils ruhig und fast akustisch, teils bewegend und fröhlich – kann einen aber auch wegfetzen. Sich dann aufrappeln und lostanzen, das ist die Kunst.

Our wildest dreams
The aspirations or goals that seemed impossible to achieve.
They would take us close to the sun
These dreams propelled us towards achieving something great.
Whenever we got there
When we achieved these goals.
It got too hot there
However, we realized that the cost of achieving these goals may be too high or overwhelming.
And we had to pull back from the heat
As a result, we had to retreat from these aspirations and re-evaluate our priorities.

live sind sie fantastisch gut. Das Album ist mega, bin seit Monaten süchtig danach, hat den Sprung in die All time-Top Ten meiner Lieblings-CDs gefunden (etwa seit 1967). Hoffe dass viele Leute diese Band kennenlernen. Sie haben es verdient, berühmt zu werden.
