Lääz Rockit would release five more full length albums over the next eight years, with 1985's "No Stranger to Danger", 1987's "Know Your Enemy", 1989's "Annihilation Principle", 1991's "Nothing'$ $acred" and the 1992 live album "Taste Of Rebellion", securing both fan and critical acclaim worldwide. The band toured throughout North America, Europe, and Japan in this period, raising the bar for metal acts to follow with their unique live performance and rapport with fans at every gig along the way.
The band broke up in 1993, though the members continued their strong bond of friendship outside of music. Their sense of kinship and brotherhood often raised the question of performing together again at some point in time, and in 2005 the perfect opportunity presented itself.
The 2005 Dynamo Open Air Festival in the Netherlands was a celebration of 80's thrash metal bands, and Lääz Rockit was billed for the main stage along with Anthrax and Testament. This show, along with a club appearance with Testament, would be Lääz Rockit's first appearances live since Tokyo in 1992. After enjoying the fun and success of playing live again, the band appeared at "The San Francisco Thrash Against Cancer Benefit" in July 2005, and travelled to Japan with their brothers Testament for the two night sold out "Thrash Domination" festival, with Kreator and Destruction also on the bill. A headline appearance at Germany's "Keep It True" festival with Diamond Head and Sabbat, and two shows in the Netherlands and Belgium in spring of 2007 were the only gigs of 2007, as the band brought along new drummer Sky Harris.
In August 2006, Lääz Rockit released "Live Untold", a DVD that encapsulates the story of the band with clips of concert scenes, photos, and interviews that chronicle the band from its inception to the present day. It is a classic, detailing the band in a unique fashion, and showcasing their brotherhood throughout their lives.
Due to the fans overwhelming response, Lääz Rockit's back catalogue is being re-mastered and re-released on Old School Metal Records, also home to the "Live Untold" DVD. "City's Gonna Burn" was re-released in 2007, with complete photos of the era and updated production. The album also contains the "Prelude To Death" demo recording from 1983. The rest of the back catalogue is also slated for release soon.
After the success of the reunion shows, the band realized they were not finished with what they had to offer musically. The band returned to the studio in 2008 for the first time in 15 years, and recently completed the perfect follow-up to where they left off in 1993 with the aptly titled "Left For Dead". Enlisting co-producers Juan Urteaga and former Lääz Rockit member Scott Sargeant (who also makes a guest appearance), the flow and direction of "Left For Dead" is the most mature sound and well thought offering the band has ever released.
"Left For Dead" was released on July 25th in Europe on Massacre Records. On June 1st, a limited edition signed CD was available in the U.S. for a limited time only on the band's MySpace page and/or official website.
The group takes its name from the finale of the 1976 Clint Eastwood movie, "The Enforcer", involving the use of a M72 LAW rocket.

At this dirty bag of bones
Dead to rights
I hear you talking
About the black rings on my face
Worthless
Now if you look inside my horror
Could you understand
Hostage of a man
Once a man of substance
Now I slave to vice
Bottomless
Speeding to the grave
Before my time is up
I'm gone and wasted
When I hear the intimations
Shades of secrecy
Unforgivable intentions
Of images unseen
Confused
Unblessed
Give me just one dying wish
I can't take this turmoil anymore
No life
No dreams
Lose my grip on all that's real
Take the turmoil out from over me
I see you thinking
Through your veiled complexity
Victimized
Scratch the wounds I'm feeling
Scars I feel inside
Paralyzed
Fighting back the alienation
From the world I see
Tempted by the strange seduction
Of your wilted seed
Confused
Unblessed
Give me just one dying wish
I can't take this turmoil anymore
No life
No dreams
Lose my grip on all that's real
Take the turmoil out from over me
Solo Jellum
Now all the bitter people
Come to bring me down
Merciless
The morbid invitations
And sacrilegious lies
I'm fuckin' gone and wasted
Confused
Unblessed
Give me just one dying wish
I can't take this turmoil anymore
No life
No dreams
Lose my grip on all that's real
Take the turmoil out from over me
Over me
Set me free
Over me
Set me free

The lyrics to Lääz Rockit's song "Turmoil" describe the internal struggles of a man who has succumbed to addiction and is trapped in a cycle of self-destruction. The opening verse suggests that the singer is mocked and ridiculed by those around him, as they see him as nothing more than a "dirty bag of bones" who is "dead to rights." The next verse delves deeper into the singer's psyche, as he reflects on his descent into addiction and the feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness that come with it. The chorus is a plea for release from this turmoil, as the singer has lost his grip on reality and can no longer withstand the pain and suffering he is experiencing.
The third verse explores the singer's sense of isolation and alienation, as he feels disconnected from the world around him and is struggling to cope with the disfiguring scars of his addiction. Despite this, he is tempted by the "strange seduction" of his addiction, which holds out the promise of escape from his pain and misery. The final verse is a cry of despair as the singer realizes that he is surrounded by people who want to see him fail and who are actively working to undermine him. In the end, he can only plead for release from his torment and hope that he will one day find some measure of peace.
