Just like to note something, some balls of this yarn only have 100g of yarn. I found some of these at my local walmart and they are HALF of what the yarn showed in the video is. Please keep this in mind when you buy this yarn, and look at the labels first. This is such a beautiful shawl, I'd hate it if you ran out of yarn in the middle of the project!

I love all forms of the V-Stitch.

How well would it work with a size three yarn, and a larger hook?...

HI Sandy, we used this pattern in last year's blanket using a 5.50 mm hook and a size 4 yarn (so a size 2 or 3 yarn and a 4.00 mm hook would be a good match too) and I loved how it looked in that size, so I would say it's quite versatile :)

Hi Chen, thank you so much for watching :) We don't have any more Summer Nights specific patterns (yet!) but I can certainly recommend this shawl tutorial for the Summer Nights Yarn: https://youtu.be/9DfWKyqr7Hw I would use a size 3.5 mm hook with the summer nights to get a nice lacy "shell" stitch going. You can work as many rows as you want (so if both those balls are the same, you can use them both up in the same project) :)

I made this along with you. My frist project, as a beginner. Youre a great teacher, amd im able to see where you put your stitches exactly. Thats been hard to find in vids, to have both, a good teacher amd being able to see. I made it for my daughter's birthday. We are estranged, but I hope someday she will enjoy it. I fell in love with this pattern but found it a stretch for me so I did this pattern with a four weight yarn and a K hook to get familiar with it. I made a scarf out of it and now I feel ready to tackle a two weight yarn. Thank you
