Part I
L.I.F.E. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Isn't this dream of love
Isn't this dream of love
Isn't this dream of love
Isn't this dream of love
Love Story
I never love again
back this love (this love)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of L.I.F.E.'s song "Part I" paint a picture of a seductive and hedonistic lifestyle. The moon above creates an atmosphere of mystery and excitement, promising wild adventures and clandestine experiences. The desire for the "stuff" found in wildest dreams drives the characters in the song into the back of a limousine, where things get "kinda rough" but also exhilarating. The idea of a "love bizarre" is a recurring theme, suggesting that the singers are not interested in conventional or traditional forms of love, but something more daring and unconventional.

The lyrics also describe a physical attraction between two people, with a "strawberry mind" and a "body built for two". The imagery of a kiss on the spine and making love on a bed of flowers suggest a sensual and romantic encounter. However, the references to swallowing pride and joy of the ivory tower and dancing on the roof suggest that there is also a rebellious and adventurous element to this love affair.

Overall, the song captures the idea of letting go of inhibitions and embracing a more exciting and unconventional way of living and loving.

Literally evolution

@Whitewing89

The Cambrian period is my favorite because everything from around that time is so f---ing alien. Also special shout outs to whatever has been making a hexagonal pattern of tunnels in the seafloor since then and the Tully monster for being so weird we barely have any idea what it was.

@toastercatx

Yes! It was a glorious warm water world! What I wouldn't give to go snorkeling in the Cambrian...

@lianav707

Agreed! The diversity and the uniqueness of these creatures…
