Want me to show you some type of love
Now that all my love is gone
Why don't ya'll leave me alone
Don't wanna talk quit calling my phone
Ion answer my door
Then Ian home
Smoke my weed up on my own
Swear out they be having that Za
It's 300 for the zone
Then why ya weed smell like cologne
Now why don't ya'll leave me alone
Too many ya'll done did me wrong
Want me to show you some type of love
Now that all my love is gone
Why don't ya'll leave me alone
Don't wanna talk quit calling my phone
Ion answer my door
Then Ian home
Smoke my weed up on my on
Yeah baby kush is my cologne
Swear out they be having that Za
It's 300 for the zone
Then why ya weed smell like cologne
Now why don't ya'll leave me alone
They be like LAC
Check out this track
Ian wanna listen to ya song
Never did stop did it on my own
Ain't nobody put me on
So why should I put you on
Why don't ya"ll leave me alone
When you don't even play my song
Don't wanna talk quit calling my phone
All them times you ignored my calls
You really got some type of nerve
Gave me your word
That you'll be there
So why didn't you pick up
The phone
Too many ya'll done did me wrong
Want me to show you some type of love
Now that all my love is gone
Why don't ya'll leave me alone
Don't wanna talk quit calling my phone
Ion answer my door
Then Ian home
Smoke my weed up on my own
Yeah baby kush is my cologne
Swear out they be having that Za
It's 300 for the zone
Then why ya weed smell like cologne
Now why don't ya'll leave me alone
Too many ya'll done did me wrong
Want me to show you some type of love
Now that all my love is gone
Why don't ya'll leave me alone

Swear out they be having that Za
It's 300 for the zone
Then why ya weed smell like cologne
Now why don't ya'll leave me alone
Say she gave a dog a home
Never gave a dog a bone
Say her lil dog broke of the chain
And her lil dog had got away
Even say her dog been house trained
Never locked her dog up in his cage
And her lil dog had liked to play
Sound like your dog ran away
From home
Thankful for my baby brother
He the one who kept me going
I chose the streets
He chose to teach
Skippy ya mother and ya father
They say that dreams make believe
Doubted you they doubted me
I see you do you see me
Lil bro I'm still pushing on
Protect you till I'm dead and gone
Welcome all with open arms
Give your love where it's accepted
And don't forget protect your peace
Too many ya'll done did me wrong
Want me to show you some type of love
Now that all my love is gone
Why don't ya'll leave me alone
Don't wanna talk quit calling my phone
Ion answer my door
Then Ian home
Smoke my weed up on my own
Yeah baby kush is my cologne
Swear out they be having that Za
It's 300 for the zone
Then why ya weed smell like cologne
Now why don't ya'll leave me alone
Too many ya'll done did me wrong
Want me to show you some type of love
Now that all my love is gone
Why don't ya'll leave me alone
Don't wanna talk quit calling my phone
Ion answer my door
Then Ian home
Smoke my weed up on my on
Yeah baby kush is my cologne
Swear out they be having that Za
It's 300 for the zone
Then why ya weed smell like cologne
Now why don't ya'll leave me alone
Too many ya'll done did me wrong
Want me to show you some type of love
Now that all my love is gone
Why don't ya'll leave me alone
Don't wanna talk quit calling my phone
Ion answer my door
Then Ian home
Smoke my weed up on my on
Yeah baby kush is my cologne
The lyrics of "Leave Me Alone" by L.ou Reed depict a person who has gone through hurtful experiences from others, causing them to isolate themselves from any form of interaction. The song highlights the need for people to leave the singer alone, as he is not interested in any form of contact. The lyrics are divided into three sections with the chorus repeated thrice. The lyrics also talk about smoking weed as a means of coping, the importance of independence and personal space, and the need to protect one's peace, amongst others.
In the first verse, the singer addresses those who have caused him pain, telling them to leave him alone, and not to try and get back in his good graces after they hurt him. The second verse sees the singer address the fake people in his life, who pretend to support him but don't play his music or return his calls. The last verse talks about family and the need to protect loved ones and give love where it's accepted.

Everybody's gonna try to tell you what to do
And never, never, never, never
Let it be said that it's true
Leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me alone
Leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me alone
They're the kind of people that'll always let you down
I know you, too, you don't ever give it a frown
Leave me, leave me, leave me...
Don't you know some people
They just don't know when to stop
They can't tell the floor from the ceiling or the top
And there're other types, they always make you wait
And they're always the first to say
The state you come from
Leave me, leave me, leave me...
Love me, love me, love me, love me, love me forever
Love me, love me, love me...
Leave me, leave me, leave me...

Went to St. Marks' Church to see David Greenberg recite with Terry Adams accompanying on piano. In the audience were Laurie Anderson and Lou. They didn't have to tell anyone to leave them alone. The two giant armed guards flanking them did that without having to say a word.
