Libertad
La Lira Libertaria Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
(Fuerte) El pulso late y crece
(Tensan) Avanzan mis piernas
(Sudan) Mis manos y frente
Quizás esto es mi libertad
(Y este) Vertigo en el vientre
(Lleva) A verme desde afuera
(Fuerte) El pulso late y crece
(Tensan) Avanzan mis piernas
(Sudan) Mis manos y frente
Y me observo y redescubro, y voy retomando mi vida
Tensionándome hasta el clímax
(Y este) Vertigo en el vientre
(Lleva) A verme desde afuera
(Fuerte) El pulso late y crece
(Tensan) Avanzan mis piernas
(Sudan) Mis manos y frente
Quizás esto es mi libertad
(Y este) Vertigo en el vientre
(Lleva) A verme desde afuera
(Fuerte) El pulso late y crece
(Tensan) Avanzan mis piernas
(Sudan) Mis manos y frente
Quizás esto es mi libertad
Quizás esto es mi libertad
Quizás esto es mi libertad
Quizás esto es mi libertad
Quizás esto es mi libertad
The lyrics of "Libertad" by La Lira Libertaria explore the theme of personal freedom and the various choices and experiences that come with it. The song emphasizes the individual's power to make decisions and the ability to break free from constraints or expectations. Each person is portrayed as always being free to leave or change their path, to tire along the way or return if they're bored.
The lyrics also touch upon the idea of embracing uncertainty and darkness, as the singer describes following their own path even amidst the unknown. There is a sense of defiance and self-declaration in the line "Y gritándome estoy vivo" (And shouting, I am alive), highlighting the exhilaration that comes with claiming one's freedom.
The mention of vertigo in the stomach signifies the feeling of excitement or fear that accompanies stepping outside one's comfort zone. The growing pulse and advancing legs symbolize the physical and emotional intensity of pursuing freedom. The song acknowledges that freedom may distance itself as one takes steps forward, but compares this process to a falling stone, finding liberation even in the descent.
In summary, "Libertad" celebrates the individual's power to choose, to overcome obstacles, and to live life on their own terms. It captures the exhilaration, uncertainty, and self-discovery that come with embracing personal freedom.

Saludos
