Born Melesha Katrina O'Garro BEM in 1988 to parents from the Caribbean Isle of St. Kitts, her first foray was into poetry and writing at age six and releasing her first mixtape at age fourteen. As of 2015, she's put out 9 mixtapes. In her words: "I grew up around music. My mum used to play a lot of reggae like Sister Nancy and Bob Marley around the house so basically, when I was around six, I was messing about and doing my own little raps and songs. My family are all rappers and singers anyway so I was always involved in it from a young age."

The song 'Black Madonna' by Lady Leshurr and Mr Eazi is an upbeat, high-energy track with a strong focus on fashion and success. The opening verse sees Lady Leshurr boasting about her expensive fast car, dripped in fashionable attire, and seemingly enjoying a lavish lifestyle. She states that she "touches the beat and it's a murder", portraying herself as a skilled artist who has the ability to create amazing music. She acknowledges her success by saying that she does things that will shock people and even jokes about running away from the cops, making it clear that she's someone to be reckoned with.
In the second verse, Mr Eazi jumps in, his part emphasizing African culture, food, and music. He mentions his love for black everything, including his cars, and goes on to speak about a curvaceous woman he encounters in the club. The line "Big bum bum, we be like" is a nod to African dance and music culture, where people dance and move their hips in a circular motion. The chorus is a repetition of the lines "Like woah, the black Madonna, style and vogue, big shot caller", suggesting that this lifestyle is constantly admired, respected and worth striving towards.
The lyrics of 'Black Madonna' convey ambition and success, emphasizing the importance of fashion, African culture and hard work. The song, with its catchy melody and engaging lyrics, serves as a celebration of success, fashion and cultural heritage, making it a standout track in the contemporary music scene.

A Black queen that can make bangers without cursing or showing of skins. Lady leshurr & Missy Elliott on a timbaland or swizz beatz produce track. With an Aaliyah sample would be ๐ฅflow & swagger on point. I can't help but think she needs a Missy Elliott feature to blow worldwide.
