Oblatsi prez reshetki
Kolektsii ot sulfetki
Vlakove, motoretki
Raziadeni podmetki

Klameni v ruka, konets prez igla
Igratchki v torba, lista vuv kosa
Oblatsi prez reshetki
Kolektsii ot sulfetki
Vlakove, motoretki
Raziadeni podmetki

Hvurlena guma
Iztrita duma

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Ladytron's song "NuHorizons" are in Bulgarian and have a somewhat enigmatic quality that makes them difficult to parse. The song has an eerie, electronic sound that pairs well with the introspective lyrics. The first stanza consists of a series of images that seem to describe a collection of small and insignificant objects. "Oblatsi prez reshetki" roughly translates to "dice through grids," while "kolektsii ot sulfetki" means "collections of matches." "Vlakove, motoretki" might refer to toy trains and motorcycles, and "raziadeni podmetki" could be translated as "scattered coasters." These images seem to evoke a sense of nostalgia for the small, trivial objects that we collect and remember.

The second stanza includes a few concrete details, such as "klameni v ruka" or "lies in hand," and "konets prez igla" or "the end through the needle." These lines might refer to the act of sewing or crafting, and the sense of finality that comes with completing a project. The final lines of the song, "hvurlena guma/iztrita duma," are a bit more ambiguous. "Hvurlena guma" literally means "thrown rubber," while "iztrita duma" means "erased thought." Together, these lines could suggest the idea of letting go of something, perhaps a memory or a feeling, that has become worn out or spent.

I think I really need to go to Bulgaria sometime.

@SynthMonsterrr

Those lyrics are incorrect. It's too literal translation. It's "clouds through the GRIDS, ROTTEN shoe soles, a THREAD through a needle and a LEAF in the hair".

@gotehorn
