Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop
Landon Pigg Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
Yes, there's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you
I've seen the paths that your eyes wander down, I wanna come too
I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you

No one understands me quite like you do
Through all of the shadowy corners of me
I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew

I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew

I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
Yes, there's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you
I've seen the waters that make your eyes shine, now I'm shining too
Because, oh, because I've fallen quite hard over over you

If I didn't know you, I'd rather not know
If I couldn't have you, I'd rather be alone

I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew

I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much

All of the while I never knew
All of the while, all of the while it was you

Tried learning this song 12yrs ago in HS and never got it down.

For the past 6 or years this fingerpicking 0:00 has been on my mind but I could never remember the name of the song or band.

All this time it’s been fading in and out of my thoughts and no one could ever help me place it.

I can’t believe I’ve finally found this beautiful song.

The question is will I finally learn to play it? 🥹

My Mom and Dad met at a coffee shop back in 1948. They were married 58 years and had 9 children. They were very much in love until they both died 4 months appart. RIP Mom and Dad

I had my 1st dates with my fiancé of 19 yrs & 2 months at a coffee shop. High school sweethearts. He got sick in 2008 & passed away this past January 20th At 6:38pm before my eyes. This reminds me of us every time I hear it. I had a young coworker ask me if people actually go on dates for coffee. Yes. Yes they do.

My husband and I met late in life, on a blind date at a coffee shop in June 2009. This song happened to be the theme song for a commercial on TV at the time, which we both loved, and it was also playing in the coffee shop when we met. Just under a year later, we married and had the song playing as we got married. It holds such good memories for us and as my husband has now been diagnosed with dementia, when this song starts playing he looks at me and gives me such a loving, knowing smile that my heart just melts.

This was in the AT&T commercial in the summer of 2009 and this video was released months later. When I heard this song that summer when I was just coming out of 7th grade going into 8th grade, I felt like it was just another good tune from AT&T that they've been having since 2006. And good story!

@KeeperOfThe10

God bless you! Very touching story. Thank you for sharing.
