Endless Road
Larger Than Life Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Would have never left if we had known
About the problems that were faced and that bitter sweet taste
Another endless road
Taking time out to be right next to you
A thousand stores to get through
Like the time we broke down
In some shitty ass town
Give me something to talk about
Lets finish what we planned
Then turn the music up way to loud
I hope this never ends
As we move forward and we're rollin' again
Passing through cleveland
No service on the phone
But well make i ton our own
Another endless road
The first verse of Larger Than Life's song "Endless Road" is about reminiscing on a long drive home and realizing that the decision to leave was perhaps hasty, as they were unaware of the challenges that they would face along the way. The "problems that were faced and that bitter sweet taste" refers to obstacles that the band encountered on their journey, which have left them feeling both grateful for the experience but also bittersweet about the challenges they had to overcome. Throughout the song, the band highlights their journey on this "endless road," touching on the time they broke down in a "shitty ass town" and the thousand stores they had to get through. Despite any setbacks encountered, the band remains hopeful and determined to keep moving forward.
