Su historia se remonta a inicios de 2010 cuando Luisa Malatesta (Paula Maffia) y Lucia de Paco (Lucy Patané) decidieron materializar una vieja idea: reunir un grupo de mujeres músicas que pudieran recuperar del olvido melodías de antaño. Uniendo su ukelele, voz y guitarra al contrabajo de Encarnación de los Males (Lu Martinez), al clarinete de Cheetara Rodriguez (Carla Branchini), la voz y trompeta de Maricarmen Montenegro (Mel Muñiz), el violín de Exaltación de la Cruz (Rosario Baeza) y la percusión de la Tía Nidia López do Pandeiro (Nati Gavazzo), iniciaron un recorrido que las ha llevado a diversos escenarios de Buenos Aires (como el Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas, el Café del Lector de la Biblioteca Nacional, la Legislatura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, el ECUNHI en la Ex ESMA, Café Vinilo, el Festival Emergente, Tecnópolis y Niceto, entre otros), Córdoba, Mendoza y Bahía Blanca. El verano de 2013 las encontró disfrutando de una gira por varias ciudades de Brasil.
