(intro)
Pickin' up the pace a little bit in this, still steppin' up about the handle the business
This is the mental fitness
Ahhh...
(verse 1)
Would you rather be effective or efficient, resistant to change, soon leave you in the distant I
mention, this on the regular, repetition drives the point home when speakin' on responsibility
Downfall, lack of preparation, while the other half is lack of motivation Resources and
information at ya fingatips, get a grip, before ya Slippin' Into Darkness without a candle lit
Benchmark sparked by this cold cold world, hearts torn apart and it make me wanna url... Flynn
don't got my back so I really stroll past, the elevator chatter and the snakes in the grass Caught
up in the middle and you'll soon real-ize, the tricks of the trade are now tele-vised Scheme and
extortion all in advance, and you ain't even know that you was a part of the plan
(verse 2)
Konphlict: I'm an Architect, with a smart connect, the Track Institution that's where my office at,
at the round table sitting where the bosses at, if it can move forward than we toss it back
Cross my T's dot my I's check my one's and two's, out to make a dollar flip ain't got no funds
to lose
Didn't have a scholarship, I went to hardknocks, cut through all the politics now they all watch
Though my case not brief I handle biz like briefcase you can ask E FLAY the asked for a replay
that's maximum eat hay lasting on each take, with a scorching flow try to touch it cremates
All the countless nights I had to work late, won't amount to shit if I ain't got my paperwork
straight

You can be the hottest but if you ain't got no plan, without a solid foundation this is not your
land.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Leaf's song "Business" delve into the importance of being both effective and efficient in order to navigate the challenges and responsibilities of life. The song emphasizes the need for preparation and motivation, as well as the dangers of being caught up in schemes and manipulation. It highlights the cold nature of the world and the need to stay focused and resilient in the face of adversity.

The first verse starts by posing the question of whether it's better to be effective or efficient. It warns against resistance to change, as it can leave someone distant and disconnected. The repetition of the topic of responsibility underlines its significance. The verse also touches on the downfall that can occur due to lack of preparation or motivation. It warns against slipping into darkness without any guidance or light. The mention of a cold world tearing hearts apart reflects the harsh realities of life, and the desire to escape and find solace is expressed through the line about wanting to "url" (likely indicating a desire to escape online). The verse concludes with a reference to deceit and manipulation, noting how easily someone can be part of a plan without even realizing it.

The second verse introduces Konphlict, who refers to himself as an Architect with a smart connect. He sees himself as an expert in the field of tracking and understands how to navigate business and life. Sitting at the round table with the bosses indicates his position of power and influence. The verse stresses the importance of attention to detail and thoroughness in handling business matters. It also emphasizes the drive to make money and the consequences of not having a solid plan. The mention of going through hard knocks and cutting through politics suggests a journey of overcoming obstacles and maneuvering through challenges. The verse ends with a reminder that while talent and skill are crucial, they mean nothing without a solid foundation and proper paperwork in place.

Overall, the song "Business" encourages listeners to approach life with intention, preparation, and a strong work ethic. It warns against falling into traps and schemes and urges individuals to establish a solid foundation for success.

Leave a comment down below and let me know what you think of how I price leaf cleanups.

Your videos are very detailed and give good advice, we do it similar to what you do but I have to take the leaves with us. So I basically keep track of the time we are at the house and about how much leaves we take away on that visit and write it down then charge accordingly when I do the final invoice

Lawn Care Business Success

I appreciate the feedback on the video. The surcharge system works great and is totally adaptable as you have done with including the disposal of leaves and adjusting the price to dump. Thanks for watching.

Good advice. We follow a similar pattern here in SC. We offer to blow out beds and mulch leaves for an extra fee. If client doesn't want to pay the fee we just mow as usual and ignore the beds.

Lawn Care Business Success

Nice 👍 Yes it much easier to tackle this way I found. Thanks for watching.

Matthew H

just imagine charging a client for its dog pooping in the yard. that is truly comifornia type of taxing.
thats like a restaurant charging a convenience tax for workers having to go to work.

vagueideas

@Matthew H we do it for several customers. If they are too lazy to clean up after their dog and we have to spend time cleaning our tires, they will pay for that time.

Jeffrey Lucas You Grow it I’ll mow it lawncare

I love the surcharge idea I feel like I might need to think about that for next season

Lawn Care Business Success

It has worked well for me. By having it as a surcharge on the original quote that the customer agrees to, It allows me to just go ahead take care of the leaves each week and not lose out on any mowing income as well. Thanks for watching.

In PA most customers want to wait for all of the leaves to fall and you just blow in one shot and charge like between 175 to 400 depending on property size and complexity
