Love Like Crazy
Lee Brice Lyrics

They called them crazy when they started out
Said seventeen's too young to know what loves about
They've been together fifty-eight years now
That's crazy

He brought home sixty-seven bucks a week
He bought a little two bedroom house on Maple Street
Where she blessed him with six more mouths to feed
Yea that's crazy
Just ask him how he did it, he'll say pull up a seat
It'll only take a minute, to tell you everything
Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when he quit his job
Said them home computers, boy they'll never take off
He sold his one man shop to Microsoft
And they paid like crazy

Just ask him how he made it
He'll tell you faith and sweat
And the heart of a faithful woman,
Who never let him forget

Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy

Always treat your woman like a lady
Never get to old to call her baby
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when they started out
They've been together fifty-eight years now

Ain't that crazy?

this is the definition of love and a man. i may be 13 but I live by these rules like I am married. I have a job, a bank account, a car(can't drive but I got it) that I help pay for. I grew up as a hard worker and a lover, and I'll die that way.

this song is like the Ten Commandments of Life and need to be followed like they are

Amen and God Bless America

My wife was 17 when we got married and I was 21. We were crazy, but here we are 19 years later today with 6 kids living out our dreams loving like crazy.

Hahaha!!! Just saw all these comments 4 years later. Update - still married and celebrated 24 years married last month. No more kids though. 6 is plenty. For all you saying that it was illegal, we had parental consent and she was 2 months from turning 18. We had originally had the date set for after she turned 18 but some circumstances changed and we had to push up the date. And for those wondering, no, she wasn’t pregnant. Some people do actually get married that young for love, though I could not have foreseen loving her more now than I did then but I do.

I appreciate your story. Thanks for sharing it.

@Lee Brice putting your number on the internet, that’s crazy. If it’s you for real, thanks for the good music. Keep up the good work young man.
