They describe their music project Lichtmond as “audiovisual poetry”. In 2010 the first Blu-ray, DVD and CD was released with "Moonlight".
Lichtmond's music combines electronic music with ambient and rock elements that flow into each other. Poems connect individual songs. Suna and Gabi Koppehele, the wives of the two brothers, are significantly involved in the songwriting of Lichtmond.
Alan Parsons refers to Light Moon as the modern day Tangerine Dream or Power Plant .
The 3D animations of the visual "dream worlds" are created in collaboration with Spanish artist Diego M. Bonati, Imago D. Studios.
Lichtmond collaborates with various international guest artists such as Alan Parsons , Boy George , I Muvrini , Midge Ure and Martyn Ware . Actors Sky du Mont and Hardy Krüger jr. acted in "Days of Eternity" . as guests with.
The label "blu phase media GmbH" was founded for Lichtmond in 2010.
With the Planetarium Hamburg , Lichtmond produced a 360-degree planetarium show that has been running regularly in Hamburg since March 2013. The show has since been distributed to other planetariums around the world, including the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City .
Lichtmond has had its own radio show on Klassik Radio since March 2014: The Klassik Lounge mit Lichtmond. The show is broadcast every first Friday evening of the month from 10 p.m. to midnight. [8th]
Due to the technical quality of Lichtmond's productions, the project is considered a reference for surround sound , 3D and the highest image quality. Lichtmond is already producing for the high-resolution television format UHD .
Lichtmond made his stage debut on the 2010 Night of the Proms tour.
