The first verse of Life Worship's song Jesus' Blood reflects on the magnitude of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for humanity. The lyrics talk about how Jesus left the glory of heaven to come save humanity. He willingly offered His will and took up the cross for the joy of the salvation of His people. He embraced the pain and suffering of the cross so that His people could walk away free and unashamed. The chorus of the song expresses gratitude to Jesus for His sacrifice as the singer acknowledges that they owe their life to the Saviour alone. Everything that the singer has and ever will have is attributed to Jesus and the sacrifice of His blood. The lyrics stress that Jesus' sacrifice has won our freedom and that we were bought by Jesus′ blood.
The second verse highlights Jesus' resurrection and glory as King of all the earth. Jesus conquered sin and death and is now seated in majesty over all things. Eternity will sing of His holy name as He reigns over all of creation. The pre-chorus and chorus repeat, emphasizing that everything the singer has belongs to Jesus; their life, their freedom, and their salvation. The last verse speaks of the hope of standing before the throne of grace, where the majesty of Jesus will be revealed. In that moment, the singer says they will bow their knee with the angels to worship and to praise Jesus alone, as He is worthy of all honour and glory.
