They started their band when they were in high school and called themselves You Ate My Dog. Seven years later they have toured all throughout Europe, had their songs played on major radio and tv stations, played festivals like Groezrock and Pier Pressure and shared the stage with so many amazing bands.

As of 2020 they have released three full length records. They released "Keep Your Head High" in 2015 and "Shelter" in 2016 both through Rude Records. In 2019 they released their latest album "Loves And Losses" through Victory Records.

Overall Meaning

The Like Torches song "Coma" is a heart-wrenching track that speaks about how it feels to watch someone you love slip away from you. The first verse paints a vivid picture of a person dancing in darkness and falling, ultimately crawling away. Despite the singer's attempts to chase after their loved one, they can't catch up as they're gone already. The chorus then repeats the sentiment that the singer is holding on to the hope that their loved one wakes up, but they know deep down that they won't be there when they do.
