Prior to releasing his hit single, Lil Kee owned two local record shops and was also a DJ at local hot spot Club 112 for a number of years. His background in production and DJing has helped him as an artist understand what fans want to hear. Lil Kee has created an up-tempo, yet gritty appeal to his music. This music will be released through his label, Keezone Productions which he created in 2009. He’s also signed a number of local artists such as Jovan Black and has produced collaborations between local talents and the likes of Plies and Gucci Mane to name a few.
“The focus of the Producer, DJ and Artist should always be about staying ahead of the curve to create music the fans will appreciate and love,” stated Lil Kee. “People come to clubs to get the stress from the week out their system and make them feel good. This is reflected in all of music which is why I have gotten such a positive response.” Currently in the studio producing tracks as well as expanding “Buss it Wide Open” outside of Florida, Lil Kee is building a solid foundation to his career. Lil Kee Lyrics

You expect me to give everything up and let 'em have it
Uh, uh, and just let 'em have it
You expect me to give everything up and let 'em have it
They ain't take my friend away from me, they took my fuckin' family
You don't wanna see me out in traffic with this automatic
I'm the type of nigga leave you worried without an answer
Real nigga, come straight from out them trenches, captioning my pictures
Ain't no love between me and them, I just deal with 'em
Ain't no blood between me and him, I just kill with him
He move out of town, thinkin' shit sweet, I bet we still get him
You probably never knew the bitch you love would let you burn, right?
I was just moving too fast, soon shit went left, I wish I turned right
Wish I could've helped Miss Nikki out when they turned out the lights
I wish I was there when big bro died and helped put up a fight
Lot of niggas ain't even wanna slide, it opened up my eyes
I wake up, just pop a Perc' and go, I'm so tired of tryin'
I got a call that a nigga had died on the road, fuck it, he should've been drivin'
I got a call that a- nigga died for sure, want somethin' to do with that body
Get you some money, go sell you a bag or somethin', I don't want nobody 'round me
I was just walkin' alone on the road, I wasn't even lookin' for smoke
Get that lil' feeling through my whole body whenever that knocks at the door
Got me clutching on my blick now, I look left and my right before I go
I got some shit make you sit down, stand up, and get back on the floor
Ain't no love, ain't no love no matter where you go
I look up and I see mugs whenever I'm doin' good
Nigga said somethin', I don't give a fuck, sent him back to the hood
Without me, then you wouldn't even eat, let's get that understood
You don't wanna see me out in traffic with this automatic
I'm the type of nigga leave you worried without an answer
I'ma put this AP on my wrist even though I can't fit it
Real nigga, come straight from out them trenches, captioning my pictures
Ain't no love between me and them, I just deal with 'em
Ain't no blood between me and him, I just kill with him
He move out of town, thinkin' shit sweet, I bet we still get him
You probably never knew the bitch you love would let you burn, right?

I got a call that a- nigga died for sure, want somethin' to do with that body
Get you some money, go sell you a bag or somethin', I don't want nobody 'round me
It's my life, do what I want
Extended clips in all my guns
My nigga like Glocks with drums
Might buy switches for us all
'Fore we walk up in the mall
Put our blicks inside our drawers
'Fore we spin and knock 'em off
Take the tags off all our cars
Mud baby, catch a body, take a picture with the rod
Thug baby, if we both get caught, then she gon' take the charge
Sticks in the condo, drive slow when you in the garage (nah, for real)
You don't wanna see me out in traffic with this automatic
I'm the type of nigga leave you worried without an answer
I'ma put this AP on my wrist even though I can't fit it
Real nigga, come straight from out them trenches, captioning my pictures

The lyrics to Lil Kee's song "Automatic" depict a gritty and poignant portrayal of life in the streets. The song explores themes of betrayal, loss, and the harsh realities of violence and survival.
In the first verse, Lil Kee expresses his frustration with the expectations placed on him to let go of everything and give in to the chaos that surrounds him. He reflects on how his friend's death was not just the loss of a friend but also the loss of his family. This line emphasizes the deep bonds formed in the streets, where friendships go beyond mere companionship and become a form of kinship.
The chorus reinforces Lil Kee's reputation as someone not to be messed with. He warns that he is armed with an automatic weapon and that encountering him in traffic would be a dangerous situation. This paints a vivid image of the volatile and unpredictable nature of life on the streets.
The second verse delves into Lil Kee's personal struggles and experiences. He raps about the consequences of moving too fast and making wrong choices. He expresses regret for not being able to help his loved ones during their darkest moments and a longing to have been there to support them. Furthermore, he reflects on the harsh reality that not everyone is willing to stand up and fight alongside him, prompting a realization about the true nature of people around him.
