Knock On Wood
Lindsey Cardinale Lyrics

I don't want to lose this good thing
That I got 'cause if I do, I will surely, surely lose a lot
But your love is better than any love I've known
It's like thunder, lightning, the way you love me is frightening
You better knock, on wood, baby
I got me spinnin' baby, baby I'm in a trance
'Cause your love is better than any love I've known.
It's like thunder, lightning, the way you love me is frightening
You better knock, on wood, baby
You better knock, knock, knock on wood
I think you better knock, knock, knock on wood
You better knock, knock, knock on wood
I think you better knock, knock, knock on wood
There's no secret about it, he feels my love may come
He sees to it that I get enough
Just one touch all over, you know it means so much
It's like thunder, lightning, the way you love me is frightening
You better knock, knock, knock, knock, knock
You better knock, knock, knock on wood
I think you better knock, knock, knock on wood
You better knock, knock, knock on wood
I think you better knock, knock, knock on wood
You better knock, knock, knock on wood
I think you better knock, knock, knock on wood
You better knock, knock, knock on wood
I think you better knock, knock, knock on wood
You better knock, knock, knock on wood
I think you better knock, knock, knock on wood
Baby, you better knock, knock, knock on wood
In Lindsey Cardinale's song "Knock on Wood," the singer expresses her fear of losing a good thing in her life. She compares her love to thunder and lightning, describing the intensity with which it affects her. The chorus serves as a warning to her partner to "knock on wood" and keep their good thing going. In the second verse, the singer admits that she is not superstitious, but cannot take any chances with this love. She feels that her partner understands her needs and satisfies them, making their love all the more intense. The repetition of "knock on wood" in the chorus further emphasizes the importance of not losing this love.
The song's lyrics are a nod to the superstition of knocking on wood to ward off negative energy and bad luck. The intense comparisons to thunder and lightning signify the strength and power of the singer's love, while also creating a sense of urgency in maintaining it. The repetition of the chorus encourages the listener to take the necessary precautions to protect their own good things in life.

Love her tone, but she couldnt pick a good song for her at all (the best was I Don Wanna Miss a Thing). I dont find this as horrible as Simon said, but it was karaoke/lacked power and energy the song needs. Not a good top 12 night for most performers. Nadia and Bo were the saving grace of the night.

@sboudreaux27 I thought she was better than others that week I would've kept her over Mikalah (even though Mikalah was one of my favorite personality wise).
