Lion Shepherd Lyrics

I feel you
Still have'nt found right door in myself
My hunger is growing...
I know how it feels to scream
To scream your lungs out and to be heard
And the best you have inside
You can try to end this game
And try to burst like immortals do
How high you can fly depends
On how low you are ready to fall
Someday
I'll find my way
To stop this wander somehow
And time will come
To go back home
Hey, you, fool
How could you think
Your love is strong enough to raise
Over that savage
In me?
Someday
I'll find my way
To stop this wander somehow
And time will come
To go back home
And things will be
Alright as they used to be
Used to be...
The song "Wander" by Lion Shepherd is about self-discovery and the journey towards finding one's own path. The lyrics speak of feeling lost and searching for something that hasn't been found within oneself. The singer is hungry for something more, and their search becomes a personal struggle. The singer then talks about the feeling of being trapped and wanting to break free from the nightmare inside. This line of 'how high you can fly depends on how low you are ready to fall' is particularly poignant as it speaks to the idea of taking risks and having the courage to follow one's dreams.
The chorus talks about finding one's way and ending the wander. It speaks of the journey being difficult but ultimately worth it. By finding the right path, the singer will eventually return home, and things will be alright again. In the bridge, the singer addresses the listener, calling them a 'fool' for believing that love alone can overcome the savage within. It's a powerful message about the need for inner strength and self-discovery.
Overall, the song is a call to action for those who feel lost and unsure about their place in the world. It encourages them to keep searching and to take risks, knowing that the journey may be hard but that the destination is worth it. The lyrics are both honest and inspiring, and the music is engaging and evocative, making it a powerful piece of art.
