In the 1990s Justin generally operated under various guises, the most renowned being Lionrock with whom he scored several Top 40s hits - 'Rudeboy Rock' and 'Packet Of Peace' among them - and appeared on Top Of The Pops in a dashing purple suit opting for gramophones over Technics. Songs were plucked from the albums Instinct For Detection and City Delirious for the films Go and City Of Industry and Lionrock shared the stage with acts as diverse as Death In Vegas, The Chemical Brothers and the Cocteau Twins. It wasn't until 2001 that Justin stepped out under his own name releasing house and techno like 'Have Mercy' for the Bugged Out imprint. In 2001 he recorded his most critically acclaimed project to date Justin Robertson presents Revtone which brought primitive house and new wave disco into the digital age. Originally on Nuphonic the best tracks came out through Bugged Out, with 'Love Movement' - remixed by Ulrich Schnauss who cited Justin's early work as an influence - being placed second best single of 2003 by Jockey Slut magazine. Contemporaries Black Strobe, Chicken Lips and Kiki also remixed Revtone tracks. Expect the second chapter from Revtone in 2007 as Justin is busy on new material with Mark Ralph. For someone with such diverse tastes it should have come as no surprise to anyone when Justin began recording and singing with a guitar. He has been writing songs since his school days and played electric guitar in Lionrock. 2004’s 'Twisted and Torn' (released on Slut Smalls) reflected his love for singer songwriters like Neil Young and Nick Drake. In the same year he also wrote a song with Tim Burgess and Rob Playford called 'Yes It Is’. It became one of the most requested songs on Sean Rowley’s BBC London show and came out on Justin’s Blister Ballads 7” label in the fall of 2006. As a man as reknowned for his reggae collection as his electronica Justin was an obvious choice for Wall of Sound's Two Culture Clash album project. He recorded in Jamaica in 2005 at the legendary Gee Jam studios with the lovers rock of 'Save Me' - featuring guitarist Ernest Ranglin and Nadine Sutherland - the beautiful result. As a DJ Justin plays a mix of techno and electronic house at clubs such as The Loft in Barcelona, Pacha in Buenos Aires, Bugged Out in Manchester, Shine in Belfast, Chibuku in Liverpool, Together at Turnmills in London, and at various clubs all over Europe and the rest of the world
She's On The Train
Lionrock Lyrics

With x-ray eyes for every plan
Don't try to compromise her views
She'll win the day and make the news
Sometimes her cycle makes her sick
But she's too quick to keep it down
She's dressed for flight, the perfect night
And in her eyes
A simple cure
For young or old, for rich or poor
When everything she saw was her and of her mind
Would she bathe in all what was good until all else believed she's blind
Making her choices with her emotions
She begged stability while she stirred the world's commotions
She was shocked.
Door was locked.
Now it's opened up and pours the truth in to her cups
See...
Life in the palm of her hands
Youth in the palm of her hands
Balance in the palm of her hands
Truth in the palm of her hands
Life in the palm of her hands
Youth in the palm of her hands
Balance in the palm of her hands
Truth in the palm of her hands
She lives her life the way it came
Summer's tease and learn to pain
Played her games in city streets
To taste the life she longed to keep
Sometimes her cycle made her sick
But she was quick to keep her poise
She blew her top and caused a tidal wave to drown the world in noise
But in a thought, she would forgive
And granted need, to light, to live
The song "She's on the Train" by Lionrock is about a confident and powerful woman who is on a mission to change the world. The lyrics paint a picture of a woman who possesses x-ray vision for every plan and is not easily swayed from her beliefs. The song acknowledges that she might face difficulties and setbacks, but she always manages to keep her composure and fights through it.
The woman depicted in this song is unapologetic about her femininity and uses it to her advantage in a world that often tries to suppress it. She is not afraid to take risks and stir up controversy to achieve her goals. She is the embodiment of the phrase "life in the palm of her hands," representing her power and control over her own destiny.
The lyrics also suggest that this woman is not infallible, as sometimes her own cycle might make her sick, but she bounces back quickly. She desires stability while also stirring up commotions, recognizing the importance of both in creating change.
Overall, "She's on the Train" is a powerful anthem that celebrates the strength and determination of women in today's society.

I've had this on vinyl for at least ten years and honestly this is the first time I've heard this mix. I bought the vinyl for the B2 track and it's all I ever play. Not sure why I never got round to playing the A-side.
