Warm
Liquid Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴

Four wheels, five seats
Paul in the trunk
Lets drive to the beach
Have some fun and get drunk
Picknickblanket, speakers, ice-cream and a lot of beer
We want to get out of here
We want to get out of here
Speedlimit, even cops turn a blind eye
Everybody is hypnotized by the sunlight
You can't deny it
Hear the seabirds screaching
Feel the ocean reaching out

Salty breeze blows away all the sorrows
We don't have to think at all about tomorrow
Warm sand is gliding throu our hands
as we watch the sunsets glance

as we watch the sunsets glance

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Liquid's song "Warm" paint a picturesque scene of a carefree and fun-filled beach day with friends. The opening lines set the scene of a car ride to the beach, with Paul squeezed into the trunk as they pack the essentials - a picnic blanket, speakers, ice cream, and plenty of beer. The desire to escape from the confines of everyday life is palpable in the repeated refrain of "We want to get out of here," emphasizing the longing for freedom and adventure.

As they hit the road, the mention of the speed limit and how even the police turn a blind eye suggests a rebellious and carefree attitude, where rules are momentarily cast aside in pursuit of enjoyment. The imagery of everyone being hypnotized by the sunlight further reinforces the idea of being lost in the moment, basking in the warmth and beauty of the day.

Upon arriving at the beach, the sensory experience is vividly described - the sound of seabirds squawking, the feeling of the ocean beckoning. The salty breeze is portrayed as having the power to whisk away all worries and troubles, creating a sense of relaxation and release from the burdens of daily life. The refrain "We don't have to think at all about tomorrow" underscores the theme of being fully present in the here and now, living in the moment without the weight of future obligations.

The final lines evoke a sense of tranquility and contentment as the friends lounge on the warm sand, feeling it slip through their fingers. The beauty of the sunset serves as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life, urging them to savor the present moment and appreciate the simple joys of companionship and nature. The repetition of "as we watch the sunsets glance" emphasizes the fleeting yet profound beauty of the experience, encapsulating the essence of living in the moment and finding solace in the simple pleasures of life.

@vichardman61

My pool it 18x48 how much would I use

@rickrodriguez7118

I believe it would be 6423 gallons assuming it’s 4ft high. So it would be a little more than one quarter of a cap. 1 and 1/2 Oz. No more than half a cap 2 Oz. But don’t take my word, check google.
