One of my favorite songs of all time. Although I don't know what it says.. There is a sense of "there is more" in the next (life, cycle, future...ect) and these beautiful pictures of what GOD created makes it more true.

I was sitting here listening to this song and I could've sworn it was used in the movie "Man On Fire" because I remember sobbing like a baby when I heard it. I then realized It was used in the 2000 movie "Gladiator". This was the last movie my husband and I watched together before he died in May of 2001. He was only 40 years old, very loved and very much a part of me. He was an irreplaceable human being. Not just to me, but to all his friends and family. This is the sound of my grief.

Such a soulful piece of music in all ways....it speaks to freeing of burdens, physical and emotional....no more shackles of earthly life, whether there is some type of after life or not, knowing the pains of earthly life are over itself is such a wonderful thought to ponder....the ultimate release of all tension, anxiety and frustration.

You honored this most beautiful piece of music with this exceptional video you created. In my opinion, you completely captured the feel of the music. There are no words to describe to you the almost overwhelming flood of emotion I felt while watching and listening to this. Music is so very powerful. It is the language of the Soul, it means to us what it means. Some will see it as a deep held sorrow, of a time in our lives when things went terribly wrong, but this would be the soothing balm. Reminding us that we will always find our way, a place we can call home where we truly can be free. There is joy in that for me to know no matter the hardships or the pain we have to carry, that one day ... we will see our own beauty.

Yes, and when I put the lyrics on here, I was unaware of that. I had found a translation. At the time, I thought it as a true translation, but it must be what the person felt when listening to the song. I believe that everyone that really listens to this song, has their own translation, as well as Lisa Gerrard. It is a song like no other. It is a song of healing and pure love, surrounded by the Divine.

i used to do light dancing to enyas music. i feel her as an angel with her voice she speaks gaelic and is fluent in an almost lost languauge. she brings me to higher places ive never been. uplifting spiritual and beautiful she is. i love her and her voice for making my life better with her music. i think god blessed her as someone to bring us to a better place.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's one of the few things in life we can never be prepared for nor can we ever assume how we are going to handle it. I didn't fare to well, to put it mildly. Isn't it strange though, the things we remember, like this movie. I hope you have found some peace. We have to hold on to the knowledge that they knew how very much they were loved and now missed. We need to know we are loved. And they knew. I don't doubt that for a second. Take the best of care.

The sad truth is, many humans have different standards of what a good person actually is. Religion comes in many forms and until all of those Gods can see eye to eye, there can never be true peace. Very nice, soft spot for this song even though I'm a heavy twisted tanz metal fan. This is end of the line music, after all the blood has spilled and the wars have ended and all that's left is the pureness within oneself. If there were another life to enter after the hard work is done, I'd want to do the transition with this angelic passing music, it's in the soul.
