Be With Me
Lisa Ono Lyrics

An empty day
So far away
Without you kiss today
What can I say
It's not ok
Could I see you again?
Be in your arms
I miss your love so much
So be with me all my life
It's only fair to say
That I'm in love
So much in love
You mean the world to me
So be with me
Stay with me
Could I see you again?
Be close to you
Be in your arms
I miss your love so much
So be with me all my life
It's only fair to say
That I'm in love
So much in love
You mean the world to me
So be with me, stay with me
You mean the world to me
So be with me
Stay with me
The lyrics of Lisa Ono's song "Be With Me" convey a sense of longing and emptiness caused by being separated from a loved one. The opening lines of "Without you love today, an empty day, so far away" paint a picture of a day without the presence of the loved one, making the day feel empty and lonely. The absence of the loved one's kiss is also lamented, leaving the singer feeling unable to express herself adequately with the lyric "what can I say, it's not ok."
The chorus of the song expresses a yearning to be close to the loved one once again. The lines "Could I see you again? Be close to you, be in your arms" convey a strong desire to be physically reunited with the loved one. The singer expresses how much she misses the loved one's love and asks for them to be with her "all my life." The refrain "you mean the world to me" emphasizes the importance of the loved one in the singer's life and highlights the depth of her feelings.
