For me the best part of this song is from 10.27 — where Shimita mentions, one by one, the artists who took part in producing this song. He goes like "Oh mama ye, Tchakou Tchakou ye.." man. He mentions himself, Lokassa, Tchakou, Ballou Canta, in his sweet melodious voice. Then Nene Tchakou picks his solo guitar to raise the tempo of the song to greater magic. You won't find better music, I tell you. These guys were talented. Damn!

very true

On my part, the best entertainment begins at 11:34 followed at 12:35 when all instruments and animation hit the tempo to the end
@holydhiang
Agreed. I keep on looping the part.

That's when the great sons of Oubangui river now lets you know that after all we're Congolese at work; he throws in their native Lingala...man these guys are Blest when it comes to music...if you listen to the originals songs of Mbarga that they they sampled(plus the Nairobi night ones); you realise that there's that mysterious Congolese Midas touch added! I think if Nkrumah's dream of a United states of Africa became reality, every region would have had their speciality... Music would have gone to the Congolese(and others ofc)

The Youth Today will never understand nor appreciate the true value of this music. The talent here was just too sweet. My favorite part of the song at 6:00 ,the drums and the guitar.......ooh my God Tchakou was a guitar sorcerer indeed.

Growing up in a nigerian house hold, any party we went to, it wasn't a party until they played soukous stars. Anytime soukous stars was played the dance floor was packed. Long live Naija!!!
