Innocent
Look-Out! Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Victims of damnation, drowning in the lies. Fallen angels of torment, father cease the cries. In our time we've slaughtered the innocent, raped the world in our discontent. God's creation in disarrary, by the father we have betrayed. Need proof, just look to our past, strangled life amidst our grasp. Self destruction we're lost to see, take and take for all our needs. In a time of innocence, we have poisoned the Earth. Destroyed the innocent, disgraced our birth. Revenge upon us by the father's hand. Witness to apocalypse, and the downfall of man. All out war, war. All out war, redemption for the innocent, and the seekers of peace. Ignorance, tomb of the masses reaping the piles inside. Wreaking to divine intervention, by the father's hand. Welcome to the days of affliction, and the downfall of man. Sky's are burning, as blood flows. Lost in torment, our lost souls, creation is in flames. Man's existence, is to blame

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Look-Out!'s song "Innocent" depict a bleak and despairing view of humanity's actions and their consequences. The song starts by describing humanity as victims of damnation, drowning in lies. It portrays fallen angels of torment crying out for their father's help. The lyrics suggest that we, as a collective, have slaughtered the innocent and brought chaos to God's creation. The past is presented as evidence of our destructive tendencies, where we've grasped at life only to strangle it. We have become lost in self-destruction and have taken relentlessly for our own desires.

The song then presents a damning assessment of humanity's impact on the Earth. It states that in a time of innocence, we have poisoned the Earth and disgraced our own birthright. The consequences of our actions come in the form of revenge from a higher power, referred to as "the father's hand." The lyrics allude to an apocalypse, a downfall of man, and an impending war. The imagery continues with themes of ignorance, oppression, and divine intervention. The song concludes with the sky burning, blood flowing, and creation itself in flames, all blamed on the existence of mankind.

Overall, "Innocent" by Look-Out! serves as a powerful critique of humanity's destructive nature and its consequences. It highlights the need for redemption and peace, while also portraying a sense of hopelessness and impending doom.

Warlove | Empires & Puzzles

I thought it's fast and was shocked what she is doing... Still good one. Like almost every new OP hero

C.N Smuts

If you weren't testing Winifred, what team would you use against this defense?

Mr. Spock

Probably something primarily red as Winifred is the immediate threat

Arturas Paulavicius

Hey, what’s talent grid i should build for Winifred?🤔

Serdar Demirci

yes, another cancer to put next to Xnolphod tank at war, to oneshot the attacker's team with functionally fast speed... just like Khufu.
Can we rework this stupidly common Xnolphod in such a way that it doesnt enable these slow heroes(that are slow for a reason)?
Either that, or stop releasing Khufus and Gosecks... Khufu at least is quite common just like Xnolphod and all the map-season heroes.

I cant believe this 30tank X problem is still not addressed. There has never been a more obscene and dominant hero as tank.
This isnt Puzzle and Empires anymore... its Boardluck& Empires.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.
