Ya Me Da Igual
Los Auténticos Decadentes Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Si se vuela mi sombrero
si la guita no me alcanza
Si se pasan los fideos
si se me nota la panza
Ya me da igual
vivir o morir, que más da
si ahora estoy parado
no caigo, de casualidad
Ay, ay, ay, ay
a esta altura todo me da igual
Ay, ay, ay, ay

a esta altura todo me da igual
Si me pisa un patrullero
si se me incendia la casa
Si me odian los corderos
si me acuesto sin mamaza
Ya me da igual
ganar o perder, que más da
si ahora estoy cantando y no afino
a mi me da igual
Ay, ay, ay, ay
a esta altura todo me da igual

Ay, ay, ay, ay
a esta altura todo me da igual

Overall Meaning

The song "Ya Me Da Igual" by Los Auténticos Decadentes is about embracing a carefree attitude towards life, where the singer talks about how he doesn't care about the little things in life that used to bother him. The lyrics talk about not caring if he loses his hat, if he doesn't have enough money, if he is hungry, or if he is not in perfect shape. He sings that he doesn't care about living or dying, winning or losing, and that he is just happy to be alive and singing. The chorus emphasizes this attitude by repeating "a esta altura todo me da igual" (at this point, everything is the same to me).

The song seems to be about finding freedom and liberation by letting go of worries and stress. The singer accepts that life is full of ups and downs and that he can't control everything that happens to him. Instead, he decides to focus on enjoying the present moment and cherishing the experiences that life gives him. The song has an upbeat, party-like tone, which reinforces the message of living life to the fullest and not taking things too seriously.
