F… Read Full Bio ↴Los Claxons is a Mexican rock band from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.
Formed by members Sánchez (vocals, guitar), Nacho (vocals, guitar) and Cholo (electric guitar) in 2002, the band didn't begin to perform formally until 2004. Pablo González (bass) joined the lineup late in 2005 and Cesareo became the band's permanent drummer in 2009.
Los Claxons released their first studio album, titled Sin ganga, under the independent Mexican label Movic Records in 2005. The band successively gathered fans by means of word of mouth and presence in social networks such as Myspace. Their fan base grew further in 2005 after presentations in several important Mexican cities and their performance in Monterrey as an opening act for Argentinian pop singer Diego Torres.
Following a redistribution of their debut album by Warner Music in 2006, Los Claxons released their second studio album En primera in September 2007. The album included 14 new tracks, including the band's first single Plan perfecto, which received substantial radio airplay in Mexico and was made available for free download on their label's website. In November 2008 Los Claxons opened for American pop-rock band Maroon 5 in concerts played in Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City, which allowed them to further broaden their audience.
In 2009, Cesareo became the band's official drummer and the release of a third studio album was announced for later that year. A single titled Tal vez me estoy tomando el pelo was released in January 2010, with their eponymous third album Los Claxons finally being released on May 25, 2010. The album reached the top spot on the iTunes store in Mexico immediately upon its release.

y vuelva a mi
y vuelva a mi.
y vuelva a mi
y vuelva a mi,
y vuelva a mi.
Me quedare esperándote, de aquí no me muevo
Me quedare esperándote, de aquí no me muevo
The song "En El Mismo Lugar" by Los Claxons is about waiting for someone in the same place. The singer describes how people are passing him by, going in multiple directions, while he remains in the same spot waiting for the person he loves. Despite changes in the weather and time passing, he is still steadfast in his waiting, hoping that she will come back to him.
The lyrics paint a picture of a wintry day, with rain still on his clothes and knees touching as he waits outside a hotel. The repetition of the phrase "en el mismo lugar" (in the same place) emphasizes the singer's unwavering commitment, even in the face of uncertainty. He wonders if his love may change her mind and return, symbolized by the restart of the coffee shop sign or the appearance of the hotel doorman, but ultimately he is resigned to stay put until she arrives.
The song's bittersweet lyrics and catchy melody have made it a popular track from Los Claxons. It has drawn praise for its honest portrayal of love and longing, as well as its nostalgic tone.

La gente me pasa de lado
People pass me by as they walk in many directions
caminando en muchas direcciones
Walking in many directions
The sky changes, the moon crosses again
y yo sigo esperándote
And I keep waiting for you
en el mismo lugar
In the same place
en el mismo lugar.
In the same place.
The clothes barely dry from yesterday's rain
a pesar del frió, nada me hace moverme.
Despite the cold, nothing makes me move.
If the sign of the cafe across the street lights up again
y yo sigo instante, esperándote.
And I continue waiting for you in an instant.
En el mismo lugar, pensé,
In the same place, I thought,
Maybe you'll regret it and take a few steps back
y vuelva a mi
And come back to me
y vuelva a mi.
And come back to me.
Parece que con el invierno otra vez
It seems that with winter again
(Aferran días cruzar por mis pies)
(Days cling to pass by my feet)
y estas rodillas se besen.
And these knees kiss each other.
The doorman of the hotel across the street appears again
y yo sigo insistente esperándote
And I persist in waiting for you.
No sé pensé,
I don't know, I thought,
Maybe we'll regret it and take steps back
y vuelva a mi,
And come back to me,
y vuelva a mi.
And come back to me.
Me quedaré esperándote, de aquí no me muevo
I will keep waiting for you, I won't move from here
Me quedaré esperándote, de aquí no me muevo
I will keep waiting for you, I won't move from here
