The lyrics to Los Crudos's song "Suéltalo" describe a common predicament in society - young people who grow up being taught certain beliefs and values, only to realize later that much of what they were taught was false or misleading. The song speaks to the difficulty that these young people encounter when trying to let go of these beliefs and see the world in a new way. The problem is that a young person takes it as pure truth) highlights the challenge faced by these individuals, who may be resistant to accepting that they were misled.
The song also speaks to the challenge that adults face when trying to accept new information and change their beliefs. And adults, even when the truth is right in front of them, cannot free themselves from what they believe) suggests that many adults are entrenched in their beliefs and resistant to change, even when presented with evidence that contradicts those beliefs. Overall, "Suéltalo" is a powerful and poignant exploration of the difficulties of letting go of deeply held beliefs and accepting new information.
