Una Tumba Más
Los Huracanes Del Norte Lyrics

voy a enterrar tu amor
en el panteón de los olvidos
será una tumba más
que tendré que cavar
aqui en mi corazón adolorido.
Pero así es el amor
y cuando dice adiós
nos deja el alma destrozada,
por más que lo intente
no pude revivir
la llama tan ardiente
de este amor que nos quemaba.
Tú me supiste amar
Tú me supiste amar
The lyrics of "Una Tumba Más" by Los Huracanes del Norte speak of the painful experience of burying a love that has ended. The singer laments the loss of a once passionate relationship, acknowledging that despite attempts to revive the love, the flame has been extinguished. He describes the act of burying the love in his heart as though it were a physical burial in a cemetery, adding yet another tomb to his already aching heart. However, he also acknowledges that love teaches us to be happy, and that even in its absence, the lessons learned from that love can never be forgotten.
The lyrics also speak of accepting the end of the relationship without bitterness or resentment, and burying the love without anger. Instead, the singer approaches the process with a sense of closure and acceptance, recognizing that all things must end eventually. The words "sin odio ni rencor" (without hate or resentment) underscore this sense of acceptance and make it clear that the singer is ready to move on from the love that once burned so bright.
Overall, "Una Tumba Más" is a poignant reminder of the pain that comes with the end of a romantic relationship. Through its evocative imagery and honest lyrics, the song captures the heartache and sadness that comes with burying the memory of a love that is no more.
