Yo Grito
Los Sirex Lyrics

Yo grito para que me escuches
Te grito
Te grito para que me expliques
Qué sucedió
Qué pasó
Dímelo
Uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh-uh, uh-uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh-uh, uh-uh-uh-uh
Estaba en casa
Esperándote
De pronto el teléfono sonó
Fue cuando tú me hablaste a mí
Dijiste que lo nuestro
Todo acabó
Yo grito
Yo grito para que me escuches
Te grito
Te grito para que me expliques
Qué sucedió
Qué pasó
Dímelo
The lyrics of Los Sirex's song "Yo Grito" depict a profound sense of frustration and desperation in a relationship that has encountered sudden turmoil. The singer is expressing their intense emotions through shouting and pleading to be heard and understood by their partner. The repetition of phrases like "Yo grito para que me escuches" and "Te grito para que me expliques" emphasizes the urgency and intensity of their need for communication and clarity.
The singer is seeking answers and explanations for what has transpired in their relationship, as indicated by the repeated questioning of "Qué sucedió, qué pasó, dímelo." This sequence of questions reflects their confusion and desire to understand the reasons behind the sudden change in their dynamic. The use of direct and straightforward language underscores the raw emotions and vulnerability of the singer as they grapple with the unexpected turn of events.
The introduction of a phone call in the narrative serves as a catalyst for the revelation of disturbing news, presumably regarding the end of the relationship. The suddenness and unexpected nature of this communication further heighten the feelings of shock and disbelief for the singer. The imagery of waiting at home and receiving the fateful call creates a sense of helplessness and isolation in the face of profound emotional upheaval.
Overall, "Yo Grito" captures the emotional turmoil and internal conflict experienced when faced with the abrupt end of a relationship. The lyrics convey a sense of yearning for closure and understanding, as well as a deep-seated need to express and process the intense emotions that accompany such a significant loss. Through the powerful use of repetition and vivid imagery, the song conveys the universal themes of love, loss, and the struggle for emotional clarity in the midst of heartbreak.

Punks? para nada. Eran un gran grupo de rock&roll de Barcelona. Esta canción se publicó en 1965, creo. Incorporaba el pedal fuzz que habian escuchado en Satisfaction. Para mi, una de sus mejores canciones.
